I too drink about a good quart of green tea a day - no sugar but do enjoy it with fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice. Love it. I no longer drink coffee - so this is a nice addition to my liquid intake. I think the only concern would be the caffeine intake - Maybe use a decaffeinated green tea if you want to drink more??…

Holy crap! What an amazing difference! You don't look like the same guy! Now... you look happy! So proud of you! Looking forward to being able to post my 1 year photos... :) Thanks for posting!

Freaking Awesome! You go girl! :)

Good for you! My 1 year anniversary was Jan 20th, 2012. Feels great to be a non-smoker! Mine is wine. I've cut out beer and have just about 1-2 cups of coffee a week now (just cause I love the taste)... but my wine is gonna be a hard one.

Agreed - sorry I was quick to condemn. It's true - we are all on different journeys... I'll be more mindful of that. Thanks.

Agreed. Looks like nothing I'd want to add to my food plan - my sugars would skyrocket. Very unhealthy.

This is soooo awesome! I'm looking forward to my year mark (Feb 2014). You look like a totally different person... even the shape of your head is different! You look ALIVE! I'm so happy for you!

I made them this morning... loved the slight "banana bread" flavor... and they are not sweet either. Like a healthy bowl of oatmeal! :) Glad you enjoy your banana's too... all in moderation of course :)
-
Doing my own research...and found these are the TOP 5 worst foods to eat. Interesting... I don't see banana's anywhere on this list.. or any other list. Doughnuts Doughnuts are fried, full of sugar and white flour and most all varieties contain trans fat. Store-bought doughnuts are made up of about 35 percent to 40 percent…

by the way, what ARE the 5 worst foods that you say are so bad to eat? And yes... duh, bananas have sugar in them. I'm not an idiot - however, the sugars are natural - not REFINED.
-
Geez... take it for what's its worth... if you don't wanna use the recipe - move the heck on.
-
Personal opinion... Sugar is worse. So enjoy a banana as sweetener.

I'd go with good healthy full-calorie foods - don't buy anything with the word "Diet or low fat" on it. Eat meats, eggs, Avocados, nuts, and lots of fresh veggies! Cut out the more processed foods - and pack small meals in advance -so you can grab-n-go. If you're in a rut... Look up meal ideas - such as…

humm.. thanks people! I will measure again - I did 2 weeks ago (ish). My boyfriend patted my *kitten* this morning and said, "wow babe... your *kitten* is firming up! bubble butt! love it! Whatever you're doing, you're toning!" And that was purely out of the blue... so I'm guessing I'm not seeing it as much as it is…

Have any of you tried it yet? What do you think?

Weird thing - BMI doesn't take into account for our different body types. For example - My sister and I are about the same height. Our builds are WAY different though. She wears a size 8 jeans at 105lbs. I wear a size 8 jeans at 140lbs. My BMI suggests I should weigh around 110-115lbs. For me - that'd be a size ZERO! And…

Here is the recipe of the Apple Jalapeno Chicken Salad I made up last night - go with a light Mayo and you're set! It's SOOO yummy! This isn't your grandma's chicken salad! This one has a light kick from the jalapenos, tons of crunch, and a "must have some more" flavor. 2 Shredded (fully cooked & cooled) Chicken breasts…

Aw, very true! I'd rather have Inner Beauty anyday! However... with as lazy and gross as I was feeling, my inner beauty was getting thin. (Ironic, huh?) Support and motivation is GREAT! Thanks for the encouragement... And heck.... YOUUUU CAN DO IT! (said in the best "waterboy" voice I have)

I do the Elliptical - and I can feel my muscles the next day, for sure! I always amp it up just a tad more each time... so I'm not getting settled into one setting. I appreciate the idea of doing what works for me... and what I enjoy. Thanks for your input! Live a little. You're fine. :)

AzChelle - maybe after I get a job, I'll be in more of a position to hire the trainer. But, I really do wanna! I know it'd help keep me on track - mainly with the strength training.
