I hear you!. 51 pounds total lost so far, I've gone from a 42L to a 40J. Yay! Breast reduction surgery in 3 months, double yay! I have been a DDD since I was 12 and 120 pounds total. If I end up with only a B when I hit my goal of 153, I will still be ecstatic. VS invented the demi cup pushup bra and "chicken cutlets" for…

I started the day that my doctor told me my fasting blood glucose was 241, and that she was giving me insulin right now, there in her office.

Never be afraid of failure. Failure just means that you learned a new way that something will NOT work. As humans, we never learn from initial success; we only learn after we try and fail. See that photo to the left? I "failed" Atkins, I "failed" Medifast. I "failed" Weight Watchers. I "failed" when trying to eat by the…

I just recently tried them while doing LCHF. Week 1, I stopped losing weight and my blood glucose rose about 12 points average. Week 2, I gained 1.4 pounts and my BG was up by an additional 14 points. I threw them all out. Either I eat sugar, or I do not eat sweets.

I'm 5' 9" and 212 right now. My goal is 160. I will probably adjust that once I get closer, because I have not seen myself at 160 (or under 200!) in 15 years.

When I have my treats, I buy really high quality ones now. Is that wal-mart cake worth the slice of coldstone creamery raspberry ice-cream cake? Is having a couple of thos gummy worms worth the piece of sees candy I have at home? or the euphoria truffle? And, this is unkind of me, but I have a co-woker that is only 1"…

And from Harvard University (http://www.health.harvard.edu/healthbeat/HEALTHbeat_091405.htm#art1) We’ve heard it for decades: Drink at least 8 cups of water a day. Not only can three out of four adults recite this bit of health wisdom, but many even feel guilty if they don’t meet the standard. However, this advice may be…

Also, from Snopes.com Origins: "You need to drink eight glasses of water per day to be healthy" is one of our more widely-known basic health tips. But do we really need to drink that much water on a daily basis? In general, to remain healthy we need to take in enough water to replace the amount we lose daily through…

If you are lifting at home, get a mirror, a full length one. If you are at the gym, watch yourself in the mirror. Work with a trainer for a while if you can, someone who will spot you and correct your form. I never did lower weights/more reps. Also, personal preference here, work on alternating days, or if you work every…

Listen to this. Tomorrow is another day! I overate as well. Wine + Chocolates = Naughty Keliandra! Naughty or not, I'll be right back on track tomorrow. Close today's food diary and open a new page tomorrow. Took me 2 years to learn to ride a bike. Fell off a LOT, skinned my hand, skinned my knees. My brothers laughed at…

5' 9", started at 252 pounds. I eat 1600-1900 calories a day. Down 11 pounds. Desk job, no exercise. TDEE gives: Your BMR is:1810 TDEE is:2172 Gives me a 200-500 deficit a day. Good question IMO...I'm always curious to see what works for others. I tried 1200, couldn't do it. Hungry, cranky, tired, food obsessed. Happier…

Don't let it get you down, but try to figure out what triggered you. I binged this weekend myself, a couple glasses of wine, some chocolate mousse...well, then I ate chocolates, about 7 of them :flowerforyou: So ok, no wine when chocolates are near!

Congratulations, you look so much happier, healthier and more confident in yourself!

I'm assuming that I am one of the others to whom you refer. I literally did not change my diet for 4 months, except for one thing: Instead of putting 6 tbs of creme brulee coffee creamer in 20 oz of coffee, I instead use 3 tbs creme brulee, 2 tbs of heavy cream and 10 oz of coffee. I lost some weight, yes, actually…
