I didn't gain or lose in boot camp or AIT, and the "weight loss diet" prescribed for me 8 years and 2 kids later by an Army physician only worked as long as I could run 8 miles a day. There was no nutrition training other than eat as low fat as possible, and eat anything else you want, including soda.

I was skeptical, too, before I started. Mine comes in at 374 calories and 35g of fat. Hard to believe that coffee alone can keep me going until almost 2 pm.

Just saw the doctor and she backs my going off the insulin and onto LCHF! Wanted me to stay on it strictly for 2 months then test me again! BG was 120 this morning. Win!!!
