  • I know exactly what you mean about finding the ideal weight for you. I find that not everyone with the same weight or clothing size looks the same. We all carry weight differently diffierent body sizes etc. I remember when I had lost a load of weight and went down to an 8-10. I am 5'5 and was about 11 st 4 and by doctor…

I have access to a vending machine so having Graze stops me using it plus its nice to have a bit of a change to what I eat & I…

  • I was born with hypothyroidism. I had my whole thyroid removed in 2007 & am on levothyroxine. Dosage is not perfect. I'm really unsure with the whole hypo and weight thing. I had stomach problems around the time I had my thyroid out. I ate very small portions, including carbs but didnt really exercise & dropped 3 almost 4…
  • Wait i'm confused..have liquid eggs whites been discontinued then? I just brought some yesterday from Sainsburys. I really hope not because I can't stand egg yolks!!!!

  • I know what you mean about doing exercise as early as possible.... If I leave it I will never do it. Agree with banana as its pretty light and helps with cramps. Make sure you keep hydrated during workout, pause if you have to.
  • I usually make green salads containing: Spring onions, cucumbers, peppers, Olives, Mozerella, Goats Cheese. Chicken Frankfurters, Chicken or turkey pieces (pre packed), Low calorie dressing, Grated carrot, feta cheese, sweetcorn, avocado (but only half) and prawns. Obviously I don't have this all at once but mix and match.…

  • BRAT - Banana, Rice, Apple Sauce, Toast. I believe this is the suggested diet for an upset stomach Also flat cola/ginger tea are good. I know sometimes plain water can make you feel sick so nice to have diluted juice Try to have rehydration salts as dehydration can just prolong sickness Wish you better x
  • Another hypo here. Have had it since birth..been poked and prodded and asked if my parents are related? (Not sure how that was relevant when they are completely different races!!) Had a full thyroidectomy in 2007 and am currently on 225mg. Feel free to add me :)
  • Another one with hypothyroidsim. Mine is congenital ...am on 225 Had thyroid removed 4 years ago. Nice to meet some others...
  • Usually I pre plan. I usually have an idea of what I'm going to be eating and because a fair bit of it is home made I need to check calorie content. I do this especially when eating at a friends or family members. This is my downfall, in a restaurant you can pick and choose what you want and at home I can decide how to…
  • Davina DVD is a good option as there are two versions for the exercises she does. High impact or low impact...I suppose you could say there are three because Davina is sometimes in between. It's a good choice, good music, not patronising and can be done in a small space or if you're somewhere where you can't make too much…
  • Personally can't stand cottage cheese so I sympathise. With Greek yogurt I use honey and add it to granola. I also use cucumber, mint and make it into a raita. Can also add curry powder and corriander for a different taste would probably put these on some kind of crackers or ryvita.
