  • Protein doesnt make or break your diet in and on itself. Remember that 1g of protein equals 4 cals. if those cals throw you over your desired rate than yes.
  • That is only half true, its a whole different kind of fat with completely different anatomic functions and traits.
  • This. Trust me even obama could find 20 mins if he wanted to. Heck, set your alarm clock 30 mins earlier and do some exercise. Theres no need to get on the offensive we are all trying to help here. :)
  • They have no direct effect on weight loss, its some capsules of fat. They are othwerwise very good for you being a healthy form of fat. I havent noticed any effect on my appetite because of them if thats what you are thinking. You can read up on them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega-3_fatty_acid
  • Unless you are a robot at work 24/7 you DO have 20 spare minutes to put on some sneakers and jog around the block + have a shower which you were going to take anyways.. Everything else is just an excuse.
  • If its any consolation ladies, most men are not into the fatty boobs .. If you keep dropping weight until when your stomach shrinks it WILL make your boobs look bigger. (and they will be firmer/better formed too than two sagging sacks of fat)
  • I love my fish oil capsules. Took a few tries to get the right brand that doesnt make me burp and stuff but totally worth it.. I had some issues with heart arythmia now I barely notice any issues after started taking it. Not exactly sure if it benefits my weight loss but oh well. Other than that I just pop a multivit here…
  • CONGRATZ! keep up the good work
  • Motivation doesnt come by itself. It just means you don't want it enough/dont care enough about it. btw thats some wall of text ...
  • It looks a bit low yea. I suppose you could do it if you dont forget to eat back the cals you burn with exercise but even so you are cutting MORE than 1k cals a day. I suppose you are aiming for 2 pounds / week loss, you can still do that with more cals. Dont forget you still need carbs in your diet with moderation, ofc.
  • Stop listening to dumbasses on the internet, do some research. You cant live a healthy life on 500 cals.
  • Also dont forget the good carbs like brown rice. I think its delicious, but I heard some people have problems with it.
  • Good luck I think its manageable :) Good to see some folks setting some realistic goals for a change.
  • Congratz on your weight loss. Imho you should have a good time, and not worry about the cals you eat ... just dont over do it, dont it every cake doughnut and french fry with mayo in sight .
  • No. Stop spreading this nonsense.
  • If that would be the case no one would get fat or be able to loose weight, so obviously no. Your metabolism does adapt but nowhere enough for you to be able to blame plateuing on it, be it gain or loss. Ever looked at pictures of somalian children ? they dont seem to adapt very well ...
  • Hm are you sure you burn 800 with exercise , thats a ****load ...
  • Well the less weight you have to loose the less effective you will find these diet pills .. If you just got a few beauty pounds to loose hop on the treadmill and burn it off. my 2c
  • Seems like you are looking for accuracy. If you want accurate measurements step on the scale every morning after you wake up, at the same time. Write down your weight. At the end of the week calculate an average from those 7 days. THAT is an approximation of your real weight, still just an approximation.
  • Coffee+Cigarette at the corner cafee. Pre workout meal of champions.
  • ofc you can. As long as you are keeping up with progressive overload I dont see why not. That means hanging some weights over time to your full body exercises.
  • a) wrong measurements regarding your weight b) overestimating your cals. Dont stress too much about the scale it sometimes just stalls then suddenly drops by 4 pounds it happens. This is related mostly to wrong measurement as most people step on the scale once a week. If you want to get a picture how wacko that is step on…
  • NO pls dont try it best case you will faint or something worst case you get rushed to the ER.
  • Congratz man on getting clean .. thats a huge battle won right there. Good news is getting bulky is far from that hard, bad news is theres no such thing as a vegan lifter.. I dont know of many black nazi people. You will mostly have to rely on protein shakes, I havent seen a vegetarian get any muscular without them.…
  • Well that depends, I am a 1200 calorie eater but I do eat back what I burn during exercise, which brings me closer to 2k, really (I do have a hard time giving up on beer). I eat around 1800 most days and have been loosing consistently about a pound a week.+ 1.5 hr workout 6 days a week + I do a 3 mile continous climb on my…
  • I think your answer was already answered but yea, if you want to get nutritional readings you should do so before cooking the stuff. Vitamins / fats / water is what is mostly lost during cooking, as far as your proteins and macronutrients go its pretty accurate. Dont worry too much about it, it can give you a bit of a…
  • Switch your complex carbs to veggies. These are the good carbs you need, they are less calorie rich and filled with vitamins and minerals. Keep in mind that complex carbs like pastry/bread/rice get digested quickly and dont stall hunger for very long, however veggies do. These are however good to consume straight after…
  • cardio is most definately not bad, its very good for your cardiovascular system. If you are looking to gain weight then probably yea it will be against your goal but you can still exercise just remember to eat those calories back you burn while running.
  • Well if dropping weight will make you look skinny you need to slap on some muscle. You cant expect to have 20% body fat and look muscular.
