Hi Deanna - I had the same thing happen. I quit around September cold turkey and gained close to 25 pounds. I can't believe how much of an appetite suppressant cigarettes were. I do feel a lot better psychically and I enjoyed every meal that put on the 25lbs. Now I am working to get them off. I am making healthier choices…

As a single working mother, I don't think I would want to stay at home even if I had the means to do so. When I lift weights, I always do about 30 to 45 minutes of cardio. Instead of giving up lifting, just dig a little deeper and finish off your strength training session with 30 mins of cardio. Doing that along with eating right will guarantee results.

I feel like I am ALWAYS under caloric goal on the days I exercise. My goal is 1200 and when I exercise it could easily go up to 2000 calories.
