  • that sounds exciting! how do you make it your living? would love to know more about your children's book, are you publishing traditionally or indie? That actually made me laugh a little as my book is about nazi's :P it's a good feeling when you wanna pound the keyboard, better than the days when it feels like pulling teeth!
  • A fellow NaNoWriMo-er!! I managed to complete mine this year and am now editing, editing and more editing!! Script frenzy sounds interesting, I took a class in university but have forgotten most of it :(
  • Thanks! I'm currently writing a WW2 Historical Romance (you can find more out about it here: www.facebook.com/WildflowersNovel) You'll find what you like to write at some point, trick is just to start then the more you write the more you develop your craft :)
  • I've read a lot about calorie deficit etc which is why i try for 500 cals or more burn a day. My main conundrum though is do i eat back these calories (healthily) or not? I don't normally but then I end up with a low daily calorie count so I don't know if my bodies going into starvation mode even though I eat 3 good meals…
  • so do you have to eat back calories? i thought you were supposed to burn the calories and then not eat them back?
  • thanks guys! i've only lost a couple inches but I went from a size 18 t-shirt to 14 so that's something at least, and lost two bra sizes (hooray!!) I'm not sure about the muscle though because i still look quite chubby/flabby so can muscle be built without much being shown on the outside?
  • According to the Wii Fit (which I don't trust as it measures me heavier than my scales) I'm just under 30 on the BMI scale. Would really like to get it down into the 'ideal' category but nothing seems to be working so at a loss really. But yes, shirt size shrinkage is at least a good sign!
  • I'm trying to focus on clothes more than scales. i feel like i'm doing everything right but the scale just isn't moving yet i've gone down on top sizes and one jean size so it doesn't make sense. however, i'm not going to let the number on a scale define me :)
  • congratulations!! Any tips would always be appreciated :)
  • thanks for all the interesting answers. I'm definitely grateful that my stomach now feels full on smaller meals and is rejecting bad foods. just found it strange and didn't know if something was wrong with my stomach or not because of the workouts I'd been doing
  • I don't tend to find that I think. But today for instance I had chicken, parsnips and carrots for lunch and was incredibly full when last year I probably wouldn't be. Fast food (when I rarely have it) now also hurts my stomach so I've steered clear of it ever since. is this affected by amount of cardio/stretches you do?…
  • I feel your "pain" with chocolate cravings. I'm currently on Lent (even though not religious) and gave up chocolate as a test to see if I could and went completely cold turkey. I get cravings and want to give in when I see it in the shops but I have a weird image of a dude dressed as Jesus chasing me with a sandal if I…
  • Thanks for that advice, will give it a go. Was mainly disheartened because of the 3lb jump then fall without explanation (same weight on two different scales in same part of bathroom) I guess it's one of the big mysteries of weight loss. At least it didn't go up again and went back down! Also, what's people's experience of…
