My goal is to lose .04 - 0.5lbs a week so I like to weigh myself every other week. I keep the scale at my friends house that way I'm not sneaking onto it before.

Try to avoid frozen meals. While convenient and cheap, they are filled with chemicals and way too much sodium for one meal. The best way to go is to make your own meals. I suggest writing what you're going to have for lunch & dinner every day of the week before you grocery shop and that way you don't spend money on things…

Do you take pictures & measurements? It's hard to see a difference when you look in the mirror but when you see side-by-side pictures, that's when you see the change. I feel like the first two need to be switched - at least for me. My family and friends definitely saw the difference in my face and waist within 4-5 weeks but I couldn't see it. I FINALLY can look in the mirror at week 8 and see the changes in my body.

I watch my Friends DVDs while I run, always cheers me up when I'm in agony :) Also I find doing HIIT workouts make the time go faster as you're constantly changing the speed or incline.
