I workout at home with ellipitical and dumbells every morning at 5:00 am. I've lost 46 lbs so far and only have about 12 to go. It's slow go at the end but very doable!! Good luck.

I eat it with red grapes , sometimes grape tomatoes also with an apple filling I make myself. I only like Breakstone brand...don't much care for others. FYI....I absolutely Hated cottage cheese a few years back but eat it everyday now as a snack.

Tell him thank you for your imput but you know what to do and have had success in the past. Also tell him you love to visit but everytime you do it stresses you out because you are placed under the microscope, and how would he feel if you did that to him. Weigh and measure yourself with out him around if possible. Good…

My alarm sounds at 4:30 every morning, except for the weekend. No snooze just get out of bed and go downstairs for a cup of coffee, take care of the animals and 5:00 I'm on my elipitical. Mon, Wed & Fri cardio 30 mins and weights then Tues, Thurs & Sat 45 mins cardio. Your body adjusts itself eventually. Good luck...you…

"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got." I don't know who wrote it but I love this quote....directly to the point and keeps me focused.

Continue because you will see results in the long run but remember a pound of fat and a pound of muscle both weigh a pound....but a pound of muscle looks very different that a pound of fat. :glasses: Good luck in your journey.

I've been reading about the BRM numbers and what I took from it was that we should be eating at least that number in calories. I've bumped my intake to 1300-1500 and my BMR number is around 1450. I just started so I won't know if it's working for a few weeks. Give it a try my guess is that it can't hurt and may get you…

You are definately not eating enough if you are working out as well. I average between 1200-1700 cals per day, depending if it's a cardio only day or cardio/weights day. I'm a firm believer in balance of a carb and protien snack. If I do carbs, it's always whole grain and no more than 2 servings per day. Fruits are also…

I have to agree...heavier.....I gradually increase with each rep. I know everyone has a different routine but for example if I start with 10 lbs for 12 reps I then go to 12 lbs for 10 reps, 15 lbs for 8 reps, 20 lbs for 6 reps and back to 15 lbs for 12 reps total of 5 sets with 30-60 seconds rest in between. Ofcourse I…

Nope...up at 4:45 am everyday and on my elipitical by 5....strength train after that then shower and work. Go early.

Good for you...keep the trend going

It's not normal if you eat right and work out to gain appx 10 lbs a year. I agree with the others that you have to be insistant on finding a solution. After gaining the weight do you snore?? Apnea could be the culprit for the tiredness too. Not getting enough quality sleep messes with your body terribly. And I like your…

It's not so bad...the cut looks gross at first but they put it in the crease of your neckline so it eventually fades. Most people don't even see mine unless I point it out. Recovery was fairly easy too.

I agree with sackit...go to a reputable endocrinologist. There is a reason they are specialists. I have been living without 1/2 my thyroid for over 20 years and take my meds regularly and also get my levels checked every 6 months now. I re-began my journey Dec 5th and have lost 35 lbs to date. It can be done....sometimes…
