This occasionally happens to me on days that I burn 800+ calories (i'm fairly small so it takes a lot for me to get to that number). I'm pretty sure it probably has something to do with the stress hormones your body releases when you exercise intensely. Your body basically thinks it is fighting for its life when you…

Polar FT4 has a strap as others have said. I believe the only difference between the 4 and the 7 is that the 7 saves more exercises for you. Personally, that wasn't necessary for me. I have a Polar FT4 and it works perfectly. Plus it wasn't as expensive as all the others because it doesn't come with all the "bells and…

I eat mexican once a week probably. everything is fine in moderation. what I usually do is make sure I go on a run day or one that I've had a big calorie burn on and eat light all day before. that way I can get my tacos and rice and chips and not feel guilty bc it fits into my day.

I did it for a couple weeks, never really got into it tho. I don't think it was the program though, I just noticed my body expanding from the lifting. I build muscle easily or something because I was gaining inches (muscle or water weight I guess) and the fat was just staying there. Lifting makes me absolutely ravenous too…

did you eat 28000 calories? because that is how much you would have had to eat to gain 8 pounds of fat. take a deep breath, it will be ok.

I've pretty much cut it out. I'll still drink but I stick to liquor straight or mixed with diet sodas. Occasionally I'll have some wine or a beer but I try to stay away from those. ^^^This is good advice IMO.

I wouldn't use a porta potty and therefore wouldn't be placed in that situation

you're getting ripped! keep it up

that seems incredibly low. I think you should focus on body fat percentage, waist size, how you feel physically and mentally. if you get to a certain weight above what your bmi should be and you are in perfect health, who cares what the scale says. BMI is usually a bunch of bull anyways, especially for men I think as they…

I think IF depends on what you do. Eat Stop Eat explains that you fast for 24 hours 1-2X a week and then eat normally the rest of the week. No binging or anything, just a way of decreasing calories for the week. Personally, I'm thinking about trying this.

exactly, work out more and you can eat more.

I'm pretty sure low carb diets simply deplete your water stores and will be gained back when you're done. I don't know why you would subject yourself to something that is causing you physical pain and ailment. You can easily lose fat from other methods.

You eat less than I do and I'm a 130 pound girl. So I'm going to agree with most posts in this thread. Eat more.
-
so that you can eat more? I guess we're forgetting that there are so many other benefits to exercise that aren't limited to aesthetics.

I don't think it has that much negative effect. I gained weight when I started the pill but it was mostly due to other things like: getting comfortable with my boyfriend, school, moving out on my own etc. TBH, most of the weight gain I had when I went on the pill was on my chest. I think, for the most part, the pill does…

yep, my time usually gets faster with each mile. I kind of get into it the longer I run. I've also found that after about 15 minutes I get in the "zone" and get to a point where I could just keep going forever.

It has literally taken me about 4-5 months to lose 20 pounds. Now that I only have less than 10 to lose it is going even slower. But it is cool. Getting this close to my goal gives me a chance to focus on other things like fitness goals and eating healthy, not just under my goal and eating more and experimenting with food…

How do you know you've lost lean mass? Chances are you won't lose a significant amount of lean mass in one week if you're eating enough food. It may be possible that you never gained the muscle to begin with and the "loss" you are experiencing is the lack of water retention from your muscles from repair.

I weigh everyday but only log a loss when I've seen it for awhile. I note what my weigh was for the day in my food notes on my diary.

I definitely needed this today, thank you

way too long. all I got from this is that no matter what you do, you are screwed.... so therefore, it is a waste of my time. everything causes cancer, everything is bad for you, everything kills you. the end.

I eat bread everyday, don't think it messes with my weight loss either. Can you just cut back to only a few slices a day? If you get a low cal kind with high fiber it can be a healthy addition to your diet.

I wear a one piece. I have like 800 billion of them. You can shop around online and find good deals. If you get a speedo endurance suit it will literally last you forever. The material doesn't fade or stretch. I honestly have some that I could still wear (if they fit) that I got 7+ years ago But then again, I was a…

I just graduated! But I'd love some more friends my age. Feel free to add me, just include a little message where you found me

These are what I use. Love them. I didn't get fitted or anything, I just knew I overpronated and found a pair of Nike's that I knew would help with that. Worked like a charm.

pretty sure most guys wouldn't turn you down once they see them, if you know what I mean

I've found that making sure each item I eat has a little protein in it helps. Greek Yogurt Eggs Turkey Bacon Whole Grains (most "true" whole grains have at least 8-10g per serving) Deli Meats Milk There are a lot of foods that have high protein contents but aren't "completely" protein foods that help with hitting your…

it's okay, she'll gain it back asap because she doesn't know how to eat properly or workout. plus losing too fast = excess skin
