I've been vegetarian for 16 years, because of the way we raise and kill slaughter animals. My diary is open if you want to see all the junk I eat to get enough protein.

I'm not easily offended. I love when people notice my weight loss. I mean, I look much different so it is really obvious. I just thank them and if they want to know how I tell them MFP.

I am doing it 100% for others. Left only with myself, I wouldn't care. I'm doing it first for God, then also for my husband (so I don't get health related problems I can prevent), my children and because we want to have more babies and I want to be as healthy as possible for pregnancy.

I had pizza and ice cream two nights in a row. I just make sure to eat within my calorie goal though. If I tried to give up my junk food I would be eating an entire pizza along with everything else I could find. I just eat whatever I want within calories. There are a lot of different methods, you just have to figure out…

I also am a lazy vegetarian. I HATE cooking. My suggestion is to look up make ahead freezer meals. There are lots of recipes out there. Most people will spend one day in the kitchen making a month's worth of meals that get dumped out of the freezer bag when hunger and cooked, already prepared.

You've lost the same amount in the same amount of time I have  Good Job!!!!! You can clearly do it without going under the knife!! You can save those thousands of dollars toward surgery for vacation or new clothes!

Texas here. It's not a country, but it should be. OP you probably don't have a big enough deficit. Open your diary and we can give more help.

I love cold water. It feels so much more refreshing than anything else. I don't drink juice and rarely drink soda. I drink a ton of coffee though.

I prefer to call myself a nerd, because I love candy and Dr. Seuss. I also use AOL, I have a Masters degree (and would love a doctorate) and for some reason I get caught up talking about statistics and studies.

So are you meaning that it is just excess fat and want more muscle tone?

This is a good thing. Small waist and big butt, that is not a problem.

First off, you have changed tremendously already! Stellar job!!!!!!!! I agree, it is mostly just extra fat. There looks to be a little bit of excess skin that may not go away through dieting, at the very bottom of your belly. But, if you lose 40 pounds it is going to look AMAZING even if there is a little excess skin left.…

You weigh it prior to cooking, thank God. I eat pasta several times a week. Usually I will add large vegetables into the mix so it bulks it up and looks more satisfying visually.

I may be wrong but I read once that eating a large meal and going to bed increases the risk of heart attack in the early morning hours

My Mom died suddenly a year and a half ago, at 54. It has been hard to cope with her loss and I gained more and more. I finally hit a magic number on the scale that shocked me into thinking I could be taking years off of my own life.

I'm 5'4" and would love to be 125. I would call that my "perfect" weight.

Anyone who would cheat after weight loss would also cheat beforehand. The only difference is opportunity.

I often don't eat anything until mid-afternoon.

I've lost 39 pounds and went from a band width of 36 to 32 but cup size is still the same. I've never had any back problems but I think my hips help to keep everything right.

I eat ice cream every night. Occasionally I will make cookies or cake every few weeks but I must eat ice cream.

Oooooooh salted caramel! I would pay $8 for that, too. I have a deep freezer in the garage so there is never an ice cream shortage at my house. I don't think I would survive it otherwise. Ice cream is awesome. Blue Bunny makes these adorable 150 calorie birthday ice creams in a cone with sprinkles on top. I love them!!…

Nerdy 29 year old Texan here with 15 pounds to lose. My favorite reading materials are research papers and I have been up all night brooding over my pet peeve: anecdotal evidence.

Well, I suppose if you set the standard then there must be a possibility of too much success. Actually I think that just varies by perspective. You see it as a problem. I see it as perfect lol. You know you've made it when you have to supplement your diet with ice cream. I mean seriously, that's not a bad thing. Ice cream…

I just work with it! I've ALWAYS liked to eat at night. I could go all day without a scrap of food, but at night I'm a ravenous beast and want to eat all the food everywhere. Basically, I just save most of my calories for at night. I may eat 500 calories the whole day and save the other thousand for dinner and dessert.…
