I have over 100 I'd like to lose as well. It started this journey a couple years ago but ended up on some medication that made me gain weight, I then had a couple of pregnancies. I was up to 310 at my heaviest. Happy to say I'm down over 40lbs, but looking to lose between 100-120 more. I'd love some more support.

I have been a member for a while, but due to some life situations (becoming pregnant with twins and losing the babies at 8 and 20 weeks) along with medications I was taking, I somehow lost my motivation to continue to strive to reach my goal. Many of those who were friends on my list, have parted ways because of my…

My thoughts...ENJOY yourself, one day wont undo all the hard work and dont make it a source of stress.

Sorry didn't want to quote the lot, but wanted to recognize it and say thanks. I was looking for something this morning. I've been in a slump for a couple weeks and not really gaining or losing, but feeling just really de-motivated. I think this may have been exactly what I needed to see this morning to start my week off a…

I use a $15 electric chopper and put the food into the generic store brand ziplock type hard containers. It does the same job and didn't cost a fortune.

heat can cause water retention and result in some swelling, as can sodium, however that is a blanket statement and there may also be underlying causes. If it is a persistent issue its best to be seen by a health care practitioner who can rule out other potential causes.

Don't make the workouts too heavy, because your muscles can hold water when they repair.

I'm an RN supervisor at a home care agency. I love the educational and mentoring role and being able to help others in achieving their goals.

I'm not quite as tall, only 5'8" 1/2 but still have 100 to lose to hit the BMI normal range. (When I get clsoer I will re-evaluate where I truly want to be.) Feel free to add me if you want.

Gotta hide it in the back (better still tell him to...) We have two freezers in the kitchen (mostly because feeding 7 means lots of food) but I've started having hubby put the binge-able stuff in the second freezer so I am not tempted when I am searching to make meals

Thankfully you get a real "aura" and were able to pull over without injury to either you or your daughter. Congratulations on your loss and moving forward.

I agree, if you really are craving it and have already looked at the calories, you are going to keep craving it. This is a lifestyle choice, eat it just plan it into your totals for the day. Edited to add...Great job!! (after I saw that you had replied.)

As a Nurse myself, I think I would question their motivations for becoming nurses if "its too much of a hassle" to commit to putting genuine and empathetic compassion into an event of this nature. If they can't commit wholeheartedly to an event that will benefit thousands, how can they commit entirely to caring for one…
