  • Great job!! I have never found anything as good as my fitness pal. I find that I can eat anything I want but I have to make sure that it is a wise choice. I have never been this commited to any program as I don't consider this a program but a lifestyle change. I am learning how to eat for the first time in my life and I…
  • I saute fresh (or frozen) spinach in very little olive oil with garlic. Top a portabello mushroom (or 2) with that and a smidge of fat free cheese (whatever kind you like but stick to the serving size). Roast in a 425 oven for 10-20 minutes. Yum!!
  • HI!! I learned a neat trick from my many joinings of Weight Watchers - Split the pita in half across so you have 2 "crusts". Load both sides with veggies, sauce and low fat or fat free mozzarella. Delish!!
  • We adopted the Corleone Theory when relating to our kids friends - "keep your friends close, your enemies closer." It helps when you keep an eye on the ones that concern you. We haven't had a problem with any of our kids friends so far. The ones we didn't like so much have pretty much fallen by the wayside.
  • Roasting is the only way to go until summer hits and then its grilling. We also roasted fresh pineapple slices. My husband used a paintbrush and paints on vanilla extract before they roast. I don't think that's necessary but he likes it.

  • Yes you can. All my husband eats is veggies, fruits and nuts - no oils, sauces, eggs, cheese, etc. He rarely cooks with oil and if he does he measures out no more than 1 tablespoon. I rinse these off and then lay them in pan. Spices stick to them fine.
  • How many calories does this add up to? Sounds delish!!
  • I just started yesterday. Desparate to lose this weight. Amen sista!! We will get thru this together.
