  • It beats the heck out of me how anyone can manage on less than 1200 calories! :noway: When I came to MFP, I found out pretty fast that the only way I could manage was to exercise to UP my numbers, because if I didn't, I was always over.   • You can burn calories just sitting on a bike? I'd LOVE to know if that's true, since my husband and I have been going out on weekends. I didn't think it would do anything, since it's not like you're walking, jogging, dancing, etc. I'll have to keep watching this thread to see if someone DOES know if you burn anything.

  • Carbs make me a lot more hungry, so I try to have more protein and fiber each day, as well as a LOT of water. :smile:
  • You're very likely just at a plateau. It WILL pass. I've had times when I've gone 5 weeks without a loss, or even gained a little. :grumble: But, eventually, since I kept plugging away with the exercise and watching my numbers, the scale DID go down! :bigsmile: Just keep at it, and you WON'T be sorry! :wink: :smile:
