I seem to run into the same. I max on the carbs (low anyway) fats, sugar and proteins as I watch them but at the end of the day I am still 500-600 calories to short . LOL, I used this http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm to calculate it.

I lost 26 pounds in 6 months with a low carb (or carbs with hi percentage of fiber like flaxseed). Friend me if you like to follow my diary :) I just maintain my weight now and focusing on converting what fat is left to muscle. Hence the main reason to joining a fitness site.

I have been on my Low Carb lifestyle for 7 months but justed started tracking and keeping a food diary. Its open to friends and I keep it updated every day (well I hope too) You can add me so we can all get ideas :):smile:

I agree that it would be awesome to have Net Carbs field. But I don't think it has. So I have my carbs and fiber side by side to subtract each other. I did notice that many items in the food search does not have actual numbers. So I now make sure to get the accurate food results.

Cool tip. I always remove the boiling eggs and put them quickly in Ice cold water which seems to makes peeling a breeze. Also found brown eggs harder to peel than white.
