I was leaning towards the dairy as well, just couldn't imagine it working that fast with the cottage cheese though. But I will cut it out for awhile and see what happens. That just stinks cause I love cheese! Hopefully that won't be the culprit!

Are you using MFP to calculate your calores burned during exercise or are you using a heart rate monitor? If you aren't using a HRM, I would strongly suggest that you get one. I got mine at Target for $40, it's a New Balance. Looking at some of the numbers you have in for calories burned, just don't seem very accurate.

I soo understand what you are going through. My MIL is the same way. At least 100 pounds overweight. She had a quadruple bypass about 10 years ago and her legs are retaining water horribly. I am 5'10" and weigh 161 lbs. I just bought size 8 dress slacks from New York & Co and size 10 jeans from Target. At my heaviest at 193 lbs I was a size 12/14.

OMG! Did w2d1 last night. Cursed at Jillian quite a few times! Had to go to my knees on the mountain climbers quite a few times! This workout seemed like she really engaged the core on almost all the exercises. At one time I had to remember that I was still on the cardio not on the abs yet!

I totally hear you about Jillian's personality, she really annoys me! She is just so dry during the whole workout, I am just coming off Chalean Exteme who at least has some spunk about her. Jillian has nothing! I peaked my heartrate in the 170's as well and burned 350 the first day and 337 the 2nd. Not bad for 30 minutes…

Just started yesterday! So glad you started a new group because the other group had already started a couple weeks ago. I had just completed Chalean Extreme with a lot of success, so I was extremely surprised how Ri30 kicked my butt last night! I was dripping with sweat and am definetly feeling it today!

Good idea on the workout pants instead of Jeans. Thank you everyone for your support. Like you said, I am sure I will gain strength from the fallen firefighters we are doing this for. I can't imagine what they went through on that day.

Katie - thanks, the OTC calcium I take 2x a day has magnesium in it as well. I have been on it for 6 months. Maybe it isn't enough for the amount of exercise I'm doing? Stang - thanks, good thought, but I drink at least 10 cups of water a day so I'm not leaning in that direction
