Your best bet is to get a heart rate monitor for an accurate count. I believe I have seen where (don't quote me) you burn an average of 6 calories a minute with intense strength training. I just use a HRM... so no guessing for me.

My daughter was 9 lb 10oz and when I measured myself I was 5 1/2 feet around. My starting weight was 160 gained 50 lost 40. SAHM to a 3 and a 4 year old. Challenging some days but worth it! The day care at the gym earn their $20 a month for child care with me :) I did the work out at home as long as I could before joining. Silly kids wanting to do it too

Unfortunately those are usually the last things to go... those and the extra dozen muffin top. Just watch your sugar and carb intake, those are the 2 things that really like to stick to the already fluffy areas... Way to bust out some work outs

I guess I am just curious as to why you would want your body cut open if it is not necessary. You really do not have a lot of weight to lose and you can totally do it on your own with help from this tool that is free! I would say as long as you have access to barbell and plates and well as dumb bells and a swiss ball, you should be ok. I have used all sorts of things... I had a medium of the line regular blender but alas that thing still left clumps and just wouldn't cut it. Magic bullet, great for making baby food, crappy at smoothies. Hubby (Is a major squeaker when it comes to spending money) broke down and bought a vitamix. Best flipping investment…

Hi! I just wanted to say that I am new to the group. With just coming out of surgery on the 5th I am easing back into it. I have recently joined a gym and switched my priorities from Jillian Micheals based workouts to weights. Just now getting back into the swing of this and it may take a few weeks to really get it going…

I had one for about 6 months... gained about 30 pounds off of it. I was trying to lose weight but with the stabbing pain in the abdomen area , it was almost impossible to work out.
