I just made zoodles with a can of clam sauce and a little pesto and frozen shrimp. DELICIOUS.

I use Charity Miles too! It's not entirely accurate compared to the other apps/maps I've used to track runs (usually a bit short). Normally I use MapMyRun app. It's free and I LOVE IT. You can set a pace and it'll coach you every few minutes and tell you to slow down or speed up based on your current pace. It also tracks…

I only count plain water too. I've read places that you're actually supposed to drink an additional glass of water for each cup of coffee or tea you drink, because they're so dehydrating. I try to do that, but sometimes 10 glasses of water a day is impossible ...

I was in a very similar situation (this past year especially) and have had the same troubles losing weight. I managed to maintain, but I want to lose like I had been last summer. I found that the easiest thing was to bring lunch with me and have lots of snacks in my bag in case I got hungry or got caught up on campus. I…

my new favorite snack is Townhouse Flatbread Crisps in Sea Salt & Olive Oil with a Garlic & Herb Laughing Cow cheese wedge. 6 crackers are only 70 calories and a cheese wedge is 35 cals. LOW CAL AND DELICIOUS :)

i'm having the EXACT same problem with my knees. i actually went the student clinic at my university today and the doctor told me i should go to PT for a month to help (don't know if i'm actually going to do this or not), but he said Rest, Ice, Elevate, and take pain relievers and get a brace. I've heard a lot of great…

the next step after C25K is the bridge to 10K by the same people. there should be a link to it on the c25k website. Hal Higdon's 10K training program is pretty good for the next level too. here's the link for that: http://www.halhigdon.com/10ktraining/10knovice.htm

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't introduced myself yet, but my name is Alison. I'll be turning 21 on Aug 21 so this challenge is right in time for my birthday :) I'm a senior at Pitt studying Biological Sciences. I've been overweight for years, all through middle and high school and college. But it's time to kick that to the curb…

One of my favorites is Rice Krispie Chicken. 1. Dip our chicken breasts or tenders into egg and then roll in Rice Krispies Cereal (or corn flakes). 2. Put on a pan. 3. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. You can also add some seasoning to the rice krispies before you coat the chicken to add some…

You could try adding TVP (texturized vegetable protein) to your meals. It's made with soy but adds protein without the fats. It's easy to google TVP recipes. Lots of people add to or use it instead of meat in tacos, meatloaf, burgers, etc.

i'm in :) i've been wanting to join a challenge and this looks like a great place to start!

I was told to record it as Circuit Training, General which burns about 185-190 cals per workout, but you may be burning more or less depending on your body so use an HRM for the most accurate burn.

i'm bumping this since i'm always having the same problem. i guess i should switch some of my fruits for veggie or protein snacks. i usually eat one Dannon or Chobani Greek yogurt per day at lunch, but that seems to have a lot of sugar in them. Any suggestions for making the plain yogurt more delicious?
