One bag of edamame at 140 calories will not make you gain 2 lbs. You need 7000 calories over your maintenance calories in order to gain 2 lbs. If you are holding on to an extra 2lbs it is likely water weight.

This happened to me too. As soon as I upped my calories I started losing again.

Really, interesting that my milk supply was almost nothing and then when I finally upped my calories it came back full force (at the suggestion of a lactation consultant). My baby wasn't growing at an appropriate rate until I upped my calories and he was able to get more. I am nursing a 9 month old who eats 3 meals a day…

HAH! THat is a great update!!

I do New Rules of Lifting at home when I am unable to go to the gym (sometimes DH works late so I can't leave the kids).
-
That's what I figured....you are about the 5th person to post this EXACT same thing lol.
-
I am betting you put something in the wrong spot. What are your stats?
-
I agree with a diet break!
-
After 6-7 weeks of plateauing I ended up doing a one week diet break and I think that helped to get me back on the losing path again, so just something you might want to consider trying.

I posted this on the Em2WL site too: I had my first loss on the scale this morning since the beginning of June! I am down .7 lb. I am now at my lowest post partum weight. 5 lbs to go to have the baby weight gone and then I can work on the other 40. I am just so excited to see a lower number on the scale since I had…

Kiki and Lucia seem to be on the other forum more now so you might get a response from them if you post it there or message them personally.

I'm not sure where you live but here it is actually the law that they have to use a booster until they are a certain age/height reequirement and for most kids that is around 8 or 9 depending on weight. They have done studies that show children have a better chance of surviving an accident if they are still in a booster. So…

My daughter is 3.5 and ride in the stroller on our walks for the mot, but we are out walking for anhour or more. You can't expect a 3 or 4 year old to walk for an hour. LOVE all the judgment in this thread about other people's parenting decisions.

Hi there, without seeing your diary I would suggest eating more protein...1 gram per pound of body weight. Since I increased my protein I am no longer feeling snacky and out of control .
-
Doing a reset is eating at maintenance, so if you are looking to maintain then you should eat your full TDEE. Did you use an online calculator to find your TDEE?
-
WOW your arms look so good!
-
This is actually a good thing! now you have done a mini reset without knowing it! I think your body should respond well to the cut now.
-
WOW that is awesome! Is that all since you started EM2WL?
-
Congrats on your losses ladies!
-
It really does take time for your body to adjust and I am thinking you should look into doing a reset.
-
If you eat the whole recipe, which I generally do then this is the NI: cals 341 carbs 29 fat 4 protein 25
-
TDEE is your maintainance level, so if you are maintaining then I think you are at the right numbers :)
-
Too funny, I just saw that on pinterest tonight too!
-
I thought I would post links to these 2 threads from the main boards. They are success threads with people eating more...there are still some people who are not eating enough that posted pics but for the most part it is filled with people who are eating enough to fuel their bodies). Just thought it would be some extra…

I think everyone hits that wall around 6 weeks in. So it sounds like you are on the right track!

1/4 cup egg whites 1/2 cup quick oats 1/2 cup cottage cheese 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon And then you can add protein powder if you want but I don't because I hate it. Blend all of those ingredients and add in other stuff like blueberries, chocolate chips, banana, peanut butter etc. Then spray a pan with cooking spray and…

Feel free to add me :)

I am on stage 4 of NROLFW and love it! It seems intimidating at first but once you get those first few workouts in you'll feel like you belong there (with the weights).
-
HAHAH I never thought of it like that before! That's awesome, now I am definitely going to focus more on the inches.
-
LCD = low calorie diet Yes I would do 15% and use the weight you are at now too if you are staying at that weight consistently.
