I didn't have any breakfast yet:( Could I still be full from yesterday?

Focus less on the scale in the bathroom, and more on the scale in the kitchen. Measure and log everything you eat carefully. Go slow and steady and trust the process. I lost weight aiming for the highest daily calorie total that was still under my TDEE.

I guess before you do a study like that you would have to have a clear definition if what "clean" means and what "processed" means. I just try to eat what unlike and get some protein in there. I enjoy vegetables but don't eat nearly enough of them. I could eat potatoes, rice and quinoa all day but i think that would be…

I would like to add though, and at least this does apply in my case, that I did like ONE thing Dr. Oz said: (if you were a healthy weight in your high school/ college days) make your goal to be the same weight you were in your late teens early twenties.

<~~~~ shameless posting. 5'71/2 , 150 pounds the day this pic was taken. Of course there's angles and lighting, but I feel like 140 - 150 is a good weight for me.

I'm not sure how Beach faired, but I heard that the pro-UK together forever campaign leader was kissing *kitten* and feeling butt-hurt, voting progressed from a light trickle to a steady stream as the day moved, transit is backed up to the bowels, and the volunteers at the polling stations are wiped out.

My partner is 6'4" and slim. If I ate like he does, I'd maintain or lose. The word that stood out for me in your post is "resent". I have never resented my partner, but in other situations, if I feel any emotion close to resentment, I check myself. I think you are really meaning that you are jealous. Jealousy is a…

It's better to alternate days, and slow down. You'll be further ahead if you don't injure yourself.

Peanut butter and toast, 99% of the time, for decades.

It makes no difference to me. I have met many overweigh fitness instructors who have superior endurance and strength compared to me, so I learn from them.

^ are you referring to sentences such as this OP? If you are then I would argue that this sentence is a lovely example of a dialect common to the social media culture, and that it contains unique grammatical and phonological rules. For example, the use of the number 2 to replace the word "to" is an amusing and easily…

^hot tamale! Right there.

Yep. I totally fly like this in my late twenties. 20 years later I just think I was so silly.

Third time is a charm!:)

^ This is also what I wished I had said first :) Most diets create a deficit and most diets do work, if you stick to them. Many diets are also sustainable to certain people. I speak from personal experience and I have friends who have been successful for decades doing different things that work for them.
-
Because other diets spend millions convincing us that their's is the best way. Because they use statements in their advertising that include phrases like "scientific studies", "doctors", and "research" and sometimes make the formula and rationale just a little too difficult to understand, making us rely on their current…

If you mix flax with water and let it sit for a bit it will turn into a jelly like consistency that used to be used in the fifties to help set hair in rollers. I have used this same method (I think one or two tbs. of flax mixed with about a 1/4 cup of water) as an egg replacer when I bake cookies. I can't tell the…

So, if your diet is replete with complete proteins, eat what you prefer: cous cous. I, personally, eat meat once or twice a year, and less dairy than the average person. I love quinoa, so in my case, quinoa is a good choice for me.
-
Eat both or just eat couscous. They do have the similar macros. What matters most is that you meet your macro and calorie goals, and nothing else. If you enjoy couscous then this is the BEST choice for you because you are more likely to stick to your plan. It makes no sense at all to eat quinoa if you don't like it or…

I think you've got this op. You certainly have the right attitude. I, on the other hand, blame my parents.

I find that running gets easier all the time.
-
^agreed. They are rough ideas at best. I always wanted the leanest most muscular look, but that's put aside for now. Right now I'm at least 25%. My avitar is a picture of me at 5'71/2 and 150 lbs, and lacking in upper body muscle.

Black licorice and water.

This marinade works for for most people, but excluding my husband, but he hasn't tried it, but that's a different story: Equal parts of soya sauce and honey, optionally mix with grated Ginger and garlic , s & p. Squeeze out extra moisture from firm tofu, marinate, stir fry with onions and mushrooms (and I like to add…

Ribena, hot.

Elaborate in the snickers pleasure of course!

I didn't know I had a "job". I didn't know that being here and making friends meant that I'm supposed to judge them. I didn't know that people might judge me for blindly saying positive things to my mfp friends. Now I'm all confused. :frown:

I'm doing it!!! Although I will miss the food treat at the end. Can you put olives in it?

What is in an appletini? Of course, I could also google it.
