My greatest NSV (so far! though it's a big one, not sure what could compete) I seem to have derailed my emotional and boredom eating. When I eat something "I shouldn't" I have looked at the choice I'm about to make, and said, "yes, I want to eat this, and no I won't regret it later". And mostly those choices were made out…

This is wonderful, what you've done for yourself. Be proud!

That's wonderful! Keep it up! you're kicking *kitten*!

My faves are Arya (I can SO understand her character!) Jon Snow, Tyrion (I see him as a good guy) and I'm really interested in the wolf story line with Bran. I find so many of the characters have such depth of emotion, something I often find a bit stale in male writers. It also doesn't hurt that HBO created the images of…

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I did take underwear shots right before I dedicated myself to losing weight, and I've taken "progress" underwear shots since, but I'm feeling a little too vulnerable right now to post those. They still hit too close to home.

I agree that you deserve support, encouragement and congratulations on your successes, but I'm guessing that people either feel threatened by your success, or are jealous of it. I know *I* am jealous that you don't have a significant amount of weight to lose, but that's a *ME* problem, not a *YOU* problem, and therefore I…

My father died of a heart attack, a month before his 52nd birthday. He'd had a heart attack when I was 5, had quadruple bypass surgery, and was told by his doctors that if he didn't change his lifestyle (smoker, overweight), the surgery would last 5 years, if he did, it would last 18. After those 18 years passed, we all…

You know what you like!! :)

I second the Kushiel Series vote, and also the George RR Martin vote. I'm just finishing the second book, Song of Ice and Fire, and I'm wracked with anticipation for the second season of Game of Thrones on HBO which starts on April 1st.

Fantastic!!! keep it up!!

This is wonderful! Congrats!

You're so pretty!!!

Your smile is contagious. You're beautiful!

Your success is inspiring!!! I also think that your journey offers a lot of important information for newcomers. I also made the mistake of eating too few calories (but still lost). But the fact that you've learned and grown to appreciate better foods and a better lifestyle for your (Amazing!!) body, well that's something…

I felt like crap after working out today. :( I get exercise induced headaches when the temp is above 20 (give or take). Today was 23. Didn't even meet my exercise goals for the day before I had to quit.

You're so beautiful! And what an inspiration!

I'm 5'4" and I was wearing a size 16, but rather stretched out, so probably an 18, at 235lbs. I'm 213 now and my size 16s are loose, but I don't think I could hit a 14 yet, which I find really surprising. I think it's mostly because I carry a lot of weight on my hips and thighs, but am losing a lot around the middle first.…

I had that exact NSV last night too! I texted my SO and he was like, "uhh... congrats? That's a weird one". I couldn't help but agree :) I can't remember how long I have been unable to cross my legs for....

Oh this is funny :)

This is the sweetest. Congratulations on your losses as well as your gains!!! (she's beautiful!!)

I can relate!! I had a large B cup before I gained weight the first time around. I'm up to a double freaking D now and I HATE it! I can't do anything with these things flopping around! Congrats on the loss of boobage, may it continue as much as you want it to ;)

Keep in mind a lot of guys are terrified to comment on weight, because of the idea we might interpret it as them calling us fat. There's nothing funnier than a guy trying to compliment a girl on weight loss when he's not quite sure what to say. My spouse started noticing the loss within the first 2 weeks, and I'd lost…

Whitney, I think you might be the cutest lady ever. Also, your name rocks. Sincerely, Whitney :)

I love this! Way to go!!!

I love how casual you are about possibly losing your pants in public :) At least you have a wife that cares!! Great work! 8 inches is an awesome achievement!

This is wonderfully inspiring. Your attitude is so positive I can't help but smile! Way to go!

Regardless of the efficacy, I would not give Curves my money as the owner ACTIVELY FUNDS Pro-Life organizations with the profits from Curves. I see this as, if you support Curves, you support denying women a right to their bodies. Sorry to get political, but when I found out I was mad. Just thought people should know where…

A year or so ago I ran solely on indoor tracks or treadmills, but then a change of surroundings meant I didn't have access to those anymore. I tried running on the sidewalk in a city, and the side of a road in the country and got the worst shin splints I've ever had. That effectively ended that bout of running for me. Then…

I started in earnest on the second week of January this year. I have been following the ketogenic way of eating. I have lost 22lbs in 65 days (though I haven't weighed in a week - i generally lose 1.5-2 lbs per week). More than losing weight, cutting carbs has totally changed my relationship with food. This alone has made…
