NSV: Pride of ownership.
I went out for my first mountain-bike ride of the season, and had a little epiphany as I rode up to my car after an hours ride. I've always felt pride-of-ownership of things I've acquired, my car, my fancy mountain bike, other long-sought trinkets... but today is the first time I have ever felt pride of ownership of my own…

30lbs in 90 days
Its hard for me to believe that I've been this successful. In my last weight loss success (2005) I lost 30 lbs in 5 months, simply by logging foods. This weekend I went to see the Toronto Supercross, and had my photo taken repeatedly (including one with my favourite rider, Dean Wilson! Yay!). But when I got home, I had the EXACT same reaction to seeing these pictures, as I did when I was suddenly slammed in the face with the fact that I. Am. Fat. Here is a comparison…

Maybe your new workout song?
Tegan & Sara, an awesome Canadian indie band, just released this song remixed by Morgan Page. It features a great perky beat and hot bodies "working out". Motivation? I think so! http://youtu.be/QHe1PvKALaY

Surprise NSV!!
I started trade school 6 weeks ago. At our first week we were given a tool belt, and I adjusted it to fit, resting on my hips. Then I didn't actually wear it again until this week. When I put it on today, if I shimmied a little bit, it would slide right off my hips and onto the floor!! I had to tighten the strap…
