  • Good suggestions! Also- I find that sticking to sashimi is usually easiest. Some places will have a sashimi salad that can be quite tasty and you can fill up on greens :).
  • I really like this! I am going to use it. Thanks :D.
  • Completely agree. It just depends on what you feel comfortable with. I try and log during the week to make sue I am not over doing it, but then I let it go on the weekends. Been maintaining for about 3-4 months and feeling great :).
  • Beautiful! You should be SO proud of yourself :D.
  • Tom Yum is also delicious! If you have a Trader Joe's near you, they usually have it in the frozen section and I believe that theirs is all vegetarian. Tassttyyy

  • Exactly this! I love Siracha :D. It really is delicious and you should try it! No reason to be scared at all and I agree with everyone else that there is a lot of sodium so make sure you get a lot of water.

  • I am not sure if there is a Trader Joe's near you, but I love the fat free balsamic dressing that the have! Only 25 calories for 2 tablespoons :). They also have some awesome hummus and yogurt dips that you could try on your sammiches :D.
  • Tell me about it...I have already consumed a cupcake. It was delicious. BUT its going in the calorie count!
  • Nail on the head! I had a friend who was similar. I was going through a rough time in my life and I moved in with her and we were inseparable. We partied a lot, drank, enabled countless bad habits and thought that it was us against the world. Slowly, after a year of unhealthy habits and living, I decided to start picking…
  • I am a savory person, myself, so I love putting salsa in it! Sometimes I also do some dill and cucumber :).
  • This exactly!
  • It will get better! We all have our down days : /. I like to brew a nice cup of tea on those days and just savor it. Sometimes I throw in some diet cookies to make it extra special! Hugs to you!
  • Wow, what a bummer! I am sorry that some people can be so insensitive, and I think that you just have to keep in mind that any negativity that people are projecting, it is not your issue. I am sure that she is just coming from a place of (possibly) jealousy, hurt and frustration. The only advice I can give is stay…
  • I am about the same stats! I was at 150 and then got down to about 130 with the 1250 calorie diet (ate my exercise calories). I was happy at that weight and started adding back calories for maintenance (1450) and lo-and-behold, I dropped another few pounds without trying! I actually got down to 125 but started eating more…
  • This would be my impression too :). Maybe she just wanted to be supportive by letting you know that you look great now? I completely understand how it can get tiresome hearing everyone's two cents, though ^^.
  • I definitely noticed a change for the better. I am not sure if it is the increase in water or what, but I was very glad with the pleasant side effect : ).
  • Here is the link that LilacLizabeth just sent out, and it has a definition based on shoulder, bust, waist and hip measurements. It seems somewhat subjective, but this one makes sense to me :). http://www.oprah.com/style/Whats-Your-Body-Shape/1#slideshow I am hope that helps!
  • Hour Glass : )
  • Just emphasizing that the information is available. I don't think people realize how often this is asked, so I think it is important to encourage people to really use the resources at hand. Also-it seems that she is resistant to the explanations, so it is easier to read the wall of text in the posts linked than try and…
  • Agreed. It makes me cranky every time I see this question re-posted : /
  • This! I eat pretty much everything : )
  • This made me laugh
  • I'm 5'7" and My original goal was 130 and I am currently maintaining at a solid 128! I started out at about 145-150. I got down to 125 at one point and I didn't like the way I looked and it was too hard to maintain. My body seems pretty happy between 128 and 130, so that is where I will stay :).
  • I don't know if this will help at all (I am generally not a sweet person, my vices are all savory :D) but I did have these awesome pretzels crisps today that were cinnamon toast flavor, and they were SO GOOD. I was wanting something a little sweet and I picked them up because they were low cal and had relatively healthy…
  • It was pretty hard for me to adjust, too. I was at 1200 for quite a while and I bumped it up to about 1450 a few months ago. It was hard at first to break even 1300 but now I am pretty much steadily eating 1450 during the week and I don't log at all on the weekends! I am maintaining my goal weight and I haven't gained any…
  • Thanks for the feedback, ladies! I think your are both right: it's all about balance. I will just keep on trucking and adjust as needed :).
  • YUM! I will have to try those crackers, and I do LOVE those corn dogs. The skinny fries at Trader Joe's are tasty as well! I also LOVE the Roasted Seaweed snacks that they have. They have a great potato chipish texture and are lightly salted and low calorie. Now I am making myself hungry... Ha!
  • Agree 100% with this!
  • You should be SOOO proud and your post made me laugh so hard! Awesome work and I hope you keep posting your success stories because they are so much fun to read :D.
