I am in love with it! Yes the workouts are challenging, so you need at least a basic fitness level, but most importantly listen to your body. The basic premise is HIIT (high intensity interval training) intervals. 5-8 mins on a treadmill, alternating with sprints and hills, and then you switch to the bench for 5-8 minutes…

I am not a great cook, don't love spending tons of time and usually cook for 1. Here are my go-to healthy meals: 1. Veggie stirfry with sliced chicken breast. Add some chia seeds for an extra nutritional punch! You can serve over brown rice or quinoa, but I don't even find I need it, and it keeps the calorie count down.…

I'm 23 and hoping to lose about that much...and just feel healthier/maybe a couple pounds by Christmas! Adding you now.... :)

Most guys like being active, so try to make your dates hikes, walks, bike rides, or mini-golf rather than sitting in a theatre with calorie-laden popcorn and candy! You will both have more fun, feel better, and you get bonus points for being "cute and unique" :)

Way to go lady! And way to feel! And yes, I know what you mean to feel strange when you've never felt a certain way before...but embrace it, and the changes that come with it! And maybe go shopping to reward yourself ;)

Honestly, you're probably already too fit to get exercise from walking your dog! You really need to pick up the pace and push your heartrate!

Ah. I'm sad to say, every time I'm either out with friends or drinking (or both!), I make awful choices and derail my diet. I haven't figured out the secret. Except to hang with your friends in healthy ways, like going dancing or for a run, and meeting for a cup of tea instead of a beer. If you figure out the solution,…

5.2 is pretty awesome! i am impressed, keep pushing yourself!

I'm a BIG evening snacker. I tried to quit eating after 8, but it just doesn't work with my schedule. If you are having wine, turn it into a spritzer by adding half the glass of club soda. Make your popcorn 100-cal smart pop bags, and a super safe and guilt-free crunchy snack is celery and salsa, you can pig out and do…

Stick to the outside perimeter - fresh fruits and veggies, dairy, and meats. I love Laughing Cow cheese wedges, frozen shrimp to quickly thaw and add to salads, and definitely chicken breasts. Load up on every fruit and veggie you can possibly eat, especially berries! And red peppers! Also egg beaters make filling…

Eggs! And celery sticks dipped in salsa. And shrimp.

I scrolled back up because I didn't believe it was you! This is incredible, you don't need to lose another pound, you are tiny!!
-
Unbelievable! You look completely gorgeous :)

If you eat healthy you will never be hungry on MFP's plan. Start getting protein, when you need a snack try some edamame, deli turkey, hummus, or even low-fat cheese like Laughing Cow. Yes, try to avoid the Mars bar and Coke because they take up calories without filling you up. But do NOT starve yourself. Even if you're…

Bump - I want to know!

Hard candies, like jolly ranchers...they last a long time and have low calories over all :)

I actually kinda wondered the same thing. But my treadmill is in .5 increments too, so I changed it to 3,6,8,12 etc. The podcast never goes higher than 12%, which was very tough, but not actually vertical. I had to reduce the incline, I couldn't keep up with it, but I think the idea is that it should be really hard. As…

Tried treadmill intervals Level 2 today! LOVE it! Definitely a challenge, MAJOR inclines and I'm not gonna lie, I had to rest a few times, and couldn't keep up with all the increased inclines. Can't wait for the day that I can power through the entire podcast! The music adjusts BPM depending on your speed, and although…

This is exactly what I did. Actually, I added the swiss cheese, but it still kept me at 330 calories for turkey on wheat with tons of veggies! And with 22g of protein, I am perfectly happy with that count for a healthy dinner on the go!

Ahh!! Been there, done that. Got the stomach pooch to prove it. Working out helps a lot, particularly in the morning if you can. Feels like you are having a "healthy day", and makes you not want to undo your hard work. Particularly if your muscles are a little sore. If you are at school or work or somewhere you have to pay…

I actually had the same issue this week! I was under my calories every day, worked out 3 times, and am weighing in a pound or two higher than last week. I am no expert, but it could be that our bodies are building muscle, or we just need to give it some time. I made an executive decision to "skip" this week's weigh-in,…

Honestly love, I had the same problem when I worked there. I just had to say "NO " to Starbucks pastries cold turkey. No "this isn't so bad", even those freakin petite things are like 200 cals each. If you really, REALLY need a cookie or a scone one day, you can walk to Safeway and buy one, but just make a hard rule around…

You look awesome Cassie! Look at those abs, wish my stomach was that flat! Ever! Looks like you just need to add in some toning exercises, your body is probably at the weight it wants to be, but now you can add definition to your arms and legs to REALLY feel amazing. Lots of things can be done with no equipment, walking…

Thanks, this is a great suggestion and I didn't even know that I could change those settings! Thanks to everyone for your feedback, I won't worry about getting too much protein now :)
-
WOW What a response! Ok, the workouts and diet tracking begin tomorrow! I honestly feel like you guys are already my friends, so thanks!

Anything really...but one of my worst ones is crackers. Like stupid Premium Plus saltines. I eat them by the sleeve. I don't even like them that much, but the salt is addicting.

Me too! I just joined today, but I REALLY need someone to hold me accountable. Which is why I went online in search of someone who feels like I do. Someone who I can tell the truth to when I just ate 6 cookies, and who will tell me to get my *kitten* on the elliptical when I really don't feel like it.
