Well done, you!

to OP: Just out of curiosity, what's the source of the article?

MASH Community House Lost 24 Watching Alcatraz now. It's good but I'm not obsessed. DH and I are also working our way through all the Star Trek Series. We started Deep Space 9 last night; the pilot kind of sucked IMHO. Touch, the new series with Kiefer Southerland, has potential.

I have a 2007 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster (low rider). DH has a 2004 (I think) Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. I've ridden his and it rides like a CADILLAC compared to mine. One of these days I'm going to bump up to a Softail Deluxe. When I got my bike it only had 13 miles on it. I'm over 20,000 now...would be…

Tylenol the night of and an Egg McMuffin in the morning. Sigh...it's not usually the hangover that kills me, though - it's the drunk munchies. That's what I get for drinking at a bar with a deep fryer...

In my bulimia days, I'd binge/purge with alarming frequency. In one memorable binge, I ate: 1 family sized jar of peanut butter loaf of bread 2 boxes of Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme pies 1 box of Little Debbie Star Crunches 1/2 gallon of rainbow sherbet. sheet cake (made from a box mix) w/ an entire jar of frosting Blech.

In random order: Music - singing as well as listening. Motorcycling (in warm weather, at least! ) Greyhounds - watching them run as well as volunteering at the adoption kennel My marriage - my DH is truly my best friend, soul mate, and all that mushy stuff - I love the time we spend together.

I can't stand the smell of cooking bacon. I always feel like I'm inhaling Crisco or something. I eat it once in a very great while - like a piece a year - or if it's an ingredient in something.

My heart aches for you. *hugs.*

I'm SO glad you posted an introduction so we can get to know you a little bit and help you with the challenges you're facing. There are so many amazing people here ready to support you every step of the way - me included! (Okay, I'm not sure how amazing I am but I want to help you as you work on YOU.) Always…

It could be that you're not eating *enough* given all the working out you're doing.

I eat pretty much the same thing for lunch every day...and snacks. I change up breakfast (I have about 5 different things maybe that I eat) and dinner is always different. I'm NOT a picky eater - I just really don't like cooking (though I found a couple of stupid-proof cookbooks and that is changing a little bit.)

I am SO FREAKIN' GLAD I'm not the only one with this fear.

Yes. To all of this. To the poster who wrote this: It was something i always felt guilty about...like i felt i should make her feel better...but until they "heal" themselves from the inside out...nothing is ever fixed. Don't feel guilty. It isn't your job to make someone with an eating disorder feel better, no matter how…

The "toothpaste" comparison did it for me, too. Pumpkin shakes from Culver's, made with frozen custard, however...NO comparison in the world could make me turn away from such yumminess!

Just got my first one about 2.5 weeks ago - it's what's in my profile picture. The dog is a combination of two dogs - my own, Earl, who is a black greyhound, and Saint Guinefort. Here's the story of St. G: His story is a variation on the well-travelled "faithful hound" motif, similar to the Welsh story of the dog Gelert.…

I didn't lose a lot of weight doing the shred, but I lost a lot of inches. :) 1200 calories may not be enough if you're working out - when I increased my calories (by a couple hundred per day) I started losing again.

Wisconsin has: Lots of beautiful lakes some great microbreweries (New Glarus, Chippewa Falls, Capital Brewery to name a few) Beautiful bendy/hilly roads just perfect for motorcycling if you're into it cows! Yummy bratwurst Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. Great fun for a game or even just to tour.

Heh - crashed and burned as far as eating yesterday. I sort of planned on making it a cheat day, but really...I took cheating to a pretty epic level. Those of you who made it through have my utmost admiration and respect. :flowerforyou:

For myself: AMiNal instead of animal. caPILLaries instead of CAPillaries (glad I figured that one out before I started working in health care...) Fatty-goo instead of fatigue. My college roommate wrote "innocent bystandards" instead of "innocent bystanders." I still tease her about that.

I'm happy with the way I look...for the most part. I struggled for far too long with body image issues to be completely comfortable wtih myself YET, but I'm working on it. I know that I'm at a healthy, sustainable weight, my clothes look good on me, and I'm not depriving myself or feeling hungry all day. I *would* like to…

Last night I had tuna (canned) with bleu cheese crumbles and a bit of low cal miracle whip. YUM.

Lord of the Rings Return of the King. Second movie was Passion of the Christ. That is SO not a date movie. We still laugh about our lack of judgment.

Health / weight wise, I kept pretty much at my goal weight all month. My weight fluctuates up and down ALL the time, but probably if I averaged it out I'd be pretty levelled out. I've also cooked a bit more (which isn't saying a LOT, but I'm getting there.) Personal goal-wise, I got a tattoo, something I've wanted for…

My 2000 green Honda Civic is Bonnie Vanessa. (No idea. Truly.) My 2007 black Sportster is B***h. :) Those are the only two vehicles I've had that have had actual names.
-
Cocoa - roasted almonds. Nutella on my morning toast or English Muffin. (Makes it taste just like a donut!)

Yup. Bring on the waterworks when I watch this one. And Terms of Endearment, 1984 (I think) with Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, and Jack Nicholson.

You're both wearing blue in your pic. :)
