  • Thank you! He was actually telling me that the soy protein wasn't what I should be using, that it was an inferior source of protein. And, when i tried to tell him that the whey i used for a few weeks seemed to make me sick , he said that it wasn't possible, unless I was allergic to diary....and I'm not. And, yes I probably…
  • Thank you to all of you! And, i think I will do some research on the different proteins, to see what kind of protein soy is. I used whey protein powder for about two weeks daily after using soy powder for months and it tasted bad (to me) and it made me sick to my stomach....and it might be true, but the know it all in my…
  • Thank you for the website, I'll look at it more tonight after the 4 year old is in bed. Maybe I misunderstood, does the FitBit only do your calories when working out? I'll have to try to look at both of the websites tonight more. I do cardio 2, maybe 3 days a week for 30-45 mins each time (for a total of anywhere between…
  • I'm kind of new around here, but you can add me
  • I'm late to the "game" but I am in for the rest of July!
  • Thank you both! I do know my sodium is always too high, but I guess I better start paying more attention to it. And, I didn't realize until you pointed it out, how much i've of what I've been eat is processed. Often, about half of our market bill is organic, but the other half isn't the greatest. I will get back to eating…
  • I work out first thing in the morning, before any food is entered and I normally enter it on my phone, I never noticed that it changed my macros (though it totally makes sense, just never really thought about it before).... I think I'll be changing the way I do it. Thanks!
  • Good job! And, this is really nice to hear, because I "think" i might be in the same boat as you and I'm going to up my calories by almost 200 starting today.
  • okay, I opened my diary, so if anyone wants to look at it and give me some advice, I'll gladly take it. I do know I eat more junk than i should. And, i think I'll go up to the 2080, right now I have my goal set at 1900 (which I just realized is not the average of the light and moderate activity), and try that for a few…
  • what i did is made a "subtract excercise calories earned" food and it's 1 calorie per serving and i just add the calories MFP says i earned each day. I like know how many calories I burned, but I do know it's not necessary, it's a mental thing for me.
  • want to read later
  • At work, too. Will have to check this out later at home
  • Thanks! Okay, so I was doing it wrong. I put my goal weight and at the light activity level, it says 2108 (which seems high, but I'll try it). Would 5 workouts a week at 30-40 minutes considered light since it's not a whole lot of time spent per workout?
  • I have a question, using the F2F website; I think I've figured out what my BMR is (1600), but not certain if I'll be okay with the activity level I picked (light). I work out 5 days a week, but only for 30-40 minutes on a eliptical machine, and other than that I have a desk job. Using that I would eat 2108, minus 20% for…
  • Thank you for your responses. I do eat junk, normally some form of chocolate, almost everyday. I'm trying to stop having it in the house so much, so that I don't end up eating it. And, that was supposed to say that I'm NOT starving myself to get under my calorie goal each day. Sorry! I will try the spoon of PB the next…
