I'm 5'4 my goal range is 130-135.

It's possible. But that might be an ambitious goal for your current weight. Here's my advice. Get a food scale if you don't have one already. Weigh everything. Log accurately. I am doing 1200 calories, but that may not be appropriate for your needs. I have lost 23 pounds in about 2 1/2 months. So 40 in six months could be…

I tell myself "eat less, weigh less" over and over

Coke zero. Every. Day. Or diet coke if they don't have it. I don't like diet Pepsi, has a weird aftertaste to me that tastes kind of like a stink bug smells....it's weird.

According to bmi you are slightly overweight. Remember bmi isn't always the best measure of body fat, only an estimate. If you want to lose, set a calorie goal and stick to it. Because you only have a little to lose, don't try for 2 pounds a week, try for .5 or maybe 1.

Stop thinking about the weekend as a freebie. Just thin of it as any other day of the week.

Wow! ONEderful!

That's great! Even if you did gain, it wouldn't be fat ( assuming you didn't eat over maintenance) it would just be water. Remember that for the future.

Yep. See your doc. Sometimes going on the birth control pill can level out your hormones.

Damn Canadians indeed. Lol, just kidding. I love you guys.

............... It's not thanksgivings yet :o

I log everyday. I have never missed logging a meal, or snack. I've been logging for about 55 days I've gotten kind of obsessed with MFP, so remembering is not a problem. I usually pre-log at least my dinner so I know I'll have enough calories for it. I don't know, I just think about food and MFP all day long. It's like a…

Sounds about right, sadly. Just pepperoni is fewer calories than sausage,so maybe stick to that.

You look sooo different! Good job running and congrats on all you've accomplished. How tall are you?

Maybe make it once a month?

I want to be in ONEderland by jan. 1.

A whole can of progreso light soup is usually 140-200 calories, depending on the variety. That's 2 cups for that amount, not bad. I keep a couple cans in the pantry for those days I need a light lunch or dinner, or even snack!

I'm like that too, trying to stop. Put the scale somewhere where it's not so tempting. I put mine in the basement.

Find some you like! Also, try each 'new' veggie a couple times. Sometimes it just grows on you. Most people don't like coffee the first time they try it, and spicy can be an acquired taste as well, so give yourself some time to adjust to new flavors and textures. Maybe it would be easier to start with sweet vegetables?…

Thanks for sharing this video! I couldn't stop laughing, it's adorable! I hope they are able to get more chocolate from now on!

Haha, that's what I thought too.

Just take the offering if it will cause offense not to, and say you'll enjoy it later. If you have kids or a spouse at home who will eat it, give it to them instead.

I would agree about adding a bit more of SOMETHING to dinner. Or how about some nuts? They add healthy fats AND protein AND minerals.
-
Yep.. 4 oz is not much! Almost any store bought chicken breast is going to be much bigger (unless we're talking Cornish hen). That's why you hear the mantra weigh everything!
-
About 1400 sounds right for weight loss. Just remember to eat low calorie bulky food to fill you up and you should have room for some indulgences as well  As well as diet try to fit in at least light exercise.., even just a little walking. I don't recommend eating back the calories though. It can be trick to gauge…

I'm kind of the same way. I get my cravings late at night. Either allow calories so that you can have a small " meal" at that time or a satisfying snack. Keep away from the pop tarts! Seriously! Don't even buy them. If it's not in the house you can't eat it. If you live with others then you can't control that as well but…

I agree with all the other replies so far, only I would add that you should use a step counter instead of a HRM and set a goal of steps per day. You said you just started your new eating plan, and sometimes it can take a few weeks to adjust your taste buds and to adjust to smaller portions and feel satisfied. Around 1500…
