Yeah, no harm in it, whichever one you choose just keep using that one!

I feel your pain! I got myself in a real muddle with the scales a few months ago, three different scales were telling me three different things. It is really difficult to get motivated when you don't even know what your starting weight is. For me, the digital scales were putting me a few pounds heavier, the gym analogue…

Wow, you look like half the woman you once were. Well done, you have done so well!

It's not just about height, it is about your current weight, activity level, amount you want to lose.. Put your stats into an online calculator and it will give you a suggested amount based on your stats and goals: http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/

Well done, you've made excellent progress! Also, what lovely hair you have

As others have said, you do not need to starve and punish yourself to drop weight. Losing weight that quickly is great at first, but you'll get trapped in the cycle you've already been through once and gain it all back. It has taken me several months to lose 18lbs, losing just a pound a week is much better for you and more…

Hmm nope. For me that would be a great loss. A meal without meat may as well be an empty plate. Meat meat meat :)

I love that it went from being too small to too big, winner! How about selling it on eBay and making a few pennies?

I've just written about this in my blog today so I thought I would comment, it is impossible to stick at something without that ah-ha moment! It just had to click into place in order to be sustainable. Mine was simple, a friend and I both started dieting in Janaury, by July she had lost 20lbs and I had actually gained…

You're doing great and thanks for sharing your story :)

You have a really good amount of time to get your weight down so you can do it gradually and sensibly so that the weight will stay off. You have a goal to work towards which should really help and keep you motivated! I am sorry your friend was insensitive, I don't think you are over reacting at all, I would also be hurt.…

Gosh, it's like the world is telling you not to exercise, you poor thing! I have actually found weight loss works more for me when I get my calories right, more so when I slog it out at the gym. 1200 calories is really very low and you should probably be eating more than that. You just need to work out what your body needs…

Oooh I'm going to try the Om Nom Chicken, sounds tasty! I just have the triangles as a little snack when I need something cheesey in my life!
-
Nope, it makes me cry and eat. Buying new shoes motivates me, shoes and bags. Just shopping in general.
-
Ahhh, I need to try pancakes for breakfast and see if I become more huggy awesome and loving everyone! Mostly I hate life and the entire world in the morning, mornings are not my friend.

Sorry you are having such a hard time, I can't relate to what you are going through but I am sure there are plenty of people on here that can. I hope that you're getting support professionally to deal with the depression so it does not consume you Nobody wants to go through anything alone so you should not apologise for…

That is quite a lot to do in a week, and even the weekends are very intense. I wouldn't be able to sustain that amount personally, but maybe you are tougher than I am! Also you don't want to burn out from over-doing it, as I know I would get to Wednesday and collapse!

Profane and vulgar are the funniest ones.. walks away with tail between legs..

Ditto. I lol'd at my desk so loudly I had to cover it up with a fake sneeze/cough. It did not sound normal, not even a bit. ...And I wonder why I have no friends at work. Meh.

Lol. I just noticed I have the worlds smiliest profile picture which does not help my cause. In defence of my smiling, I only do it in pictures. Promise! Smiling is just too exhausting for my face!

Pahahahahaha oh you've nailed it one, gold star! Ok how about it starts with Bit and ends witth chy?

Oh man the most important word in my post has been all censored. I'll give you a clue it begins with a B and ends with itchy.

Sometimes when I try to be nice and sincere, people think I am being sarcastic. It is just part of having a *****y resting face and I am at peace with it. Sometimes when I'm sarcastic people think I am being an actual *kitten*. It is hard to find a balance. Woe is me. Any fellow *****y resting face people? (if you have not…

I tend to always have my biggest meal in the evening as it is when I am the hungriest. I have smaller breakfasts and lunches so I can have a big dinner and I have enough calories left for an evening snack. I also have a glass of skimmed milk before bed (like a child lol)
-
Ah you got in before me! I am glad someone else said it though! :)

So you're 127 pounds and 5'5. As I am your height and a lot heavier, I would guess you are skinny and not skinnyfat. If you lose too much more you'll be underweight. You are already under eating, even 1000 calories is too low. I am sure these two factors may set off alarm bells. As others have said strength training,…

Wow, massive well done to you! You look amazing. You are an inspiration and proof that hard work pays off.
-
Well done on your weight loss so far! I have days where I have more indulgent dinners and treats, I eat out and don't restrict myself of everything that I enjoy, I just eat less of it. I do continue to count calories and try to stay within them where possible. For example, when I have a busy social life and eat out a lot,…

In my experience doctors tend to diagnose IBS when every other avenue has been exhausted. All IBS is, is a collection of symptoms and there is no cure. I have suffered very badly with IBS symptoms on and off for many years, when it got particularly bad a few years ago I was tested, poked and prodded and nothing came back…

Congrats on your hard work, you look amazing! You actually look way less than 199 to me, but then it is tricky to guess height in a picture!
