I just went on a two week road trip that included a stop at six flags and I ate healthy the whole time. You have to be willing to order a la carte and to ask exactly what you want. Sit down restaurants are best because they are more likely to tailor to what you need. My favorite thing to do was to order a small grilled…

I like a classic walnut (I use regular walnuts, not candied), cranberry and feta cheese topped salad on romaine or spinach, with a vinaigrette that is equal parts balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and honey to taste.

Everyone recommends a frozen banana for a nice sweet low calorie treat (almost ice cream like) but have you ever tried frozen cherries? Its the best thing ever. Like the best sorbet you've ever had. I buy earthbound organic cherries, its like $5 for a whole bag. Cheaper than fresh most the year. 90cals = 1 cup

Thanks! More weight loss seemed to be going in the wrong direction all right. Is it possible to put on muscle without putting on fat? I am pretty happy with having lost the love handles and would prefer keeping them off, sounds terrible but I've been dieting for so long Im kinda scared to eat more.

Tell you what I heard is tried and true...rice and rest. Lift. Rice. Rest. Repeat. (Not saying no protein, just add rice to the amount of protein you need cause its easy to eat) Worked for Bane: http://www.askmen.com/sports/bodybuilding/tom-hardy-workout.html

Me neither. Also- currently eating 1800-2100 calories and I've lost 5lbs in 3 weeks. From 120lbs- 114.6. All I'm doing on here is counting carbs and letting calories fall where they may :-) It works for some people, the only way to find out is to try it yourself. If you didn't like it or it didn't work for you, doesn't…

Ditto, Sissons work is awsome. Lost 35-40lbs- no counting or weighing. Im not sure exactly how much I lost because I quit weighing myself when I was heavy. Also, I had a weakness for french vanilla coffee creamer before. Love it black now- most things are too sweet for my taste these days.

Love meatza, its probably the best version of pizza but its not very low calorie. I have eaten both and I think cauliflower crust is a close second as far as healthy alternatives go (but still few carbs and lower calorie). I love the taste, the cauliflower is not really noticeable- its just kind of cheesy. The only trouble…

I lost a ton of weight on the paleo diet. I was about 5lbs short of obese before, that's me in the profile pic now. I ate primal actually (allows for some white potatoes, some white rice, fruit, wine and dairy). Personally, I found it works great, especially if you want to lose weight intuitively, which is why I did it. I…

Worked for me. I made the first move on my guy. Just randomly started asking him if he was taking classes at the uni, where he was going (we were at a bus stop) how he was liking his classes etc. Bus was late, we talked for an hour. I gave him my number. Four years in now  .

I'd say I changed. I have always been an hourglass (as defined by a 10 inch differnce between waist and hips/bust being the same measurement- used to be 38-28-38) but as I lose weight and do lots of squats my hip measurment has remained the same while my bust and waist have gotten smaller (now 36-26-38). I supose this…

Mark Sisson has a free progressive resistance body weight program. You do have to sign up, but you can always unsubscribe if you are uninterested. Even if you don't follow the diet its great. It always kills me even though I usually do lift heavy! http://www.marksdailyapple.com/subscribe-to-blog/

Bacon. Really though, the reason you were starving is there's not much protein or fat there, both of which are far more filling than carbs. Any of the recommendations here that add fat or protein will help.

Its a pretty personal decision, depends on how it will make you feel. Imagine you do eat those things- do you feel okay of are you hating yourself? If you hate yourself it might not be worth it. If you can just enjoy it and go back to normal the next day, then enjoy yourself. Also if you think it might trigger a downward…

Thats terrible. My family teased me for years too. Never get over stuff like that.

Sadly I have a few: A guy threw fries at my face. His friends laughed. Family ganging up on me, laughing at how awful I looked in a bathing suit... A neighbor teased me for years calling me and a friend fat lesbians- which was good thing cause no one would ever have us.

I didn't lose any weight doing insanity, period. I ate well at the time too. I looked better though. Its possible you won't lose weight but that doesn't mean you won't look better. Just putting that out there. Edit: Also sore muscles = water retention

Not hungry, don't eat. Listen to your body.

Friend of mine is celiac and she was diagnosed about 15yrs ago. She HATEs the fad. Some of that stuff has landed her in the hospital because it wasn't truly gluten free. Now she doesn't eat at any restaurants or anything that is in a package.

Haha, I love people who are like "I just had a doughnut cake brownie cheese cake covered in Carmel chocolate hot fudge but its ok...its gluten free!"
