I have lost almost 3 lbs... I haven't updated my weigh in yet... maybe i can change my exercise regimen... i don't see a change in my inches though... it has been the same for a while...

I have been looking into getting a hrm... right now I am using a pedometer to track my steps I take... I walk up and down 6 flights of stairs at work and up and down 6 flights of stairs at home as well... I also walk up/down a hill everyday to catch the metro to work... It seems as if everything I eat has lots of sodium in it... And my sugar count is high because I do eat lots of fruit, but when I do that my sugar exceeds for the day so I figured I would eat less of it. I am so confused... :sad:

I noticed the sodium level when I first started was so high... I am trying to watch that as well... And the water, its so hard for me to get the 8 glasses in a day... I am trying... the only time i can really get 8 glasses in is when I work out extra hard at the gym... Otherwise I may get 6 in a day at the most... :(

I would suggest just getting the fruits and veggies that you like... If you want to add yogurt you can, you don't have to... I use a food scale to determine the measurements... I bought mine from bed bath & beyond and it was 20 bucks... I am sure you can probably find one at your local walmart for cheaper maybe... that would help a lot of food measurements.

Glad someone asked this question, because I was curious about steak too... I have been eating fish and chicken and cut the beef... but I see its ok to still eat it... Watch the size and cut of the steak... Thanks all for the info.

I was looking for an alternate for the maple syrup myself and I can do without the powered sugar... I love fruit on my pancakes anyway without the syrup so that should not be a problem... :)
