The same thing happened to me. I gained #18 of the nearly #40 I lost when I quit tracking. I'm just not ready to be on my own yet . . .

I'd switch to T25. The first month of Insanity is just a taste - the workouts can get up to an hour in month 2. T25 (In my opinion) is easier than Insanity but I also finished 70+ days of insanity, so it's like a 'break' for me. I think you could quickly lose interest in Insanity because it's very demanding and TOUGH! If…

Most schools don't allow peanut butter or peanut butter products anymore due to nut allergies

Go into maintenance and just maintain your weight until after the holidays :) It's easier to maintain than it is to lose the weight you could gain - JMO
-
the biggest loser cardio max - but you CAN do Jillian, just do it at your own pace - eventually you WILL get there!

I felt the same way with Insanity. I didn't lose weight - but I also didn't follow the nutrition like I was supposed to. But in the end, I came out a lot stronger than I when I went in. I ran a little over 5 miles one day and had to stop because my feet started hurting because of my shoes - I could have went on forever! I…

I finished Insanity and am doing Hip Hop Abs and T25. I like T25 because it's less than 30 minutes with the cool down - but I like Insanity better because I feel I got a better workout. T25 is not as hard as Insanity, but a great workout just the same if you have limited time. Hip Hop abs is fun, but I think Like to sweat…

properly cut up - it tastes just like beef

I did it too - followed MFP guided goals and yes, lost the weight, BUT - I also lost my hair and my nails were brittle and cracking and I was hungry all the time. When I started eating 'normal' again (around maintenance) I gained back #20 in about 6 months.
-
I'm 5'3" and have MFP set to 1500 but I shoot for 1700-1800/day - those eating 1200 calories can not tell me they are NOT hungry!

walden farms peanut butter

I wear a pedometer all day almost everyday - sometimes hitting up to 9-10 miles, but I don't log it, I just want to try to get 10000 steps a day
-
MFPs 1200 calories is simply not enough. I did lose weight when first joined andI followed MFP to a "T" but I was also tired, hungry, my finger nails were cracking and tearing and my hair was falling out. I gained the weight back when I tried to go to maintenance and here I am again finally down to the last few pounds. I'm…

I add lemon juice and stevia to water.

when I first started MFP and following the guided 1200 calories - I was losing my hair and my nails were brittle and cracking. I was apparently not getting enough nutrients. I have upped it to 1400 and eat back my exercise calories and everything went back to normal. Although the weight is not coming off as fast, I am much…

I also gained #3 the first month of insanity. I think lost a total of #3 by the end of day 72 (I just kept on going) but I did lose inches- and gained A LOT if endurance!! I can do other programs with ease that I found hard to do prior to doing insanity.

An interesting article: http://m.active.com/triathlon/Articles/The-Myth-of-the-Fat-burning-Zone I personally just use My HRM to calculate calories burned- I've never used it to stay in a certain zone. Oh, and to be sure my heart rate is not too high during insanity ;)

I saw a beachbody video with Shaun T. about doing Insanity a second time around. He suggested at least a 2 week break between - I don't think he actually said Why though
-
no matter what you do - it all goes back when you stop :) losing weight is a lifestyle change - NOT something you do temporarily.

always. No excuse unless I've injured myself. The movement will actually take your mind off of it and maybe make you feel better. When I was in high school - many moons ago - I was on the tennis team - I'd have a nasty cold and have tennis practice after school and it never failed, as soon as I started moving around, my…

I'm anal and like to know exactly what I did and how many calories I burned. I create a new exercise and name it specifically what I did ie: 30 Day Shred - Level 1 using my HRM, I put in my calories burned. I usually only had 160-170 calories doing level 1 I don't usually put in 'circuit training' because I like to look…

School lunches are disgusting. Corn dogs, nacho chips with cheese, little caeser's pizza, bosco sticks, chicken nuggets . . . When I was a kid (Don't you love that line?????) We had REAL food. The lunch ladies worked - they didn't open a package and slap it on a pan to warm it up. Sloppy joes, Baked chicken with potatoes,…

the hormones can be causing weight gain or weight loss stall. Also, the closer you get to your goal, the harder it is to lose. I'm there right now. IF you are doing everything right (calories in/calories out), exercise and not going over - then just keep doing what you are doing. Slow and steady wins the race!
-
Feel free to add me. I am nearing the end of week 6 - but plan on starting again when I'm done
-
I like the vanilla with some skim milk (almond allergy) vanilla yogurt, flax seeds, strawberries or raspberries and ice. It's so good
-
I bought Kale and it sat in my fridge in the bag for 2-3 days. I opened it up (never had Kale before) and it smelled like broccoli when you cook broccoli - is it supposed to smell like that?
-
that sounds really good!
-
I quit doing level one on day 6 and went to level 2 because it was just too easy for me
-
I also create a new workout and name it (for example) Insanity - Cardio Circuit And use my HRM to give me the calories burned.

I found mine on a local Facebook sale page. I just posted 'wanted' and I got it from a woman for $80. I'm sure there are hundreds of people out there that bought the program, do the fit test and the first workout and never did it again! Check Craigslist. I got scammed on eBay, so be careful if you try there. With that…
