Hi, I'm 22, female, 5'11" and 189! I'm home from university for the summer and have been struggling with being in a house full of cakes and pastries. Not going over maintenance, just not losing much. I set my goal to 1550 this week as something I can happily stick to even if it's a little slower. I've also changed my…

You can add me :) I only started running about a month ago and eat around 1400-1900.

I'm 5'11", close enough :) I was between sizes to start with and it took me about 28lbs to get down that half. During exams and deadlines I had high and low days and was happy to just maintain. Noone who saw me frequently could see any difference and friends I hadn't seen since my heaviest weight didn't seem to notice. In…

I say enjoy it as a treat meal. Even if you bloat for a couple of days after, going over your goal calories once won't have a noticeable effect. If you want to eat a lower calorie figure at the meal without having to explain the diet, you can easily say you had a big/ late lunch and aren't hungry enough for a second side/…

I'm 22 and with similar goals, just a little head start. Feel free to add me :)

28lbs so far and noone's noticed yet...

I'll be trying out carrots and other snacking vegetables with some low calorie dips. Also jumbo chocolate snackajacks. They may not be nutritious, but they're 62cals and absolutely delicious. My main issue is if I go to the library with their "packet sweets and bottled drinks only" rule :grumble:

I found I didn't need all the toppings when I made it with sweetened soya milk. It came out already extra creamy and sweet and I just added a little jam. It's not the healthiest, but chocolate spread is my favourite topping.

I'm 22 and 80 days in :)

I'm working on going from 221 to a 150 goal too. I'll add you :)
-
+1 for ebay I got a gorgeous little summer top brand new with tags for about £3 and can't wait to wear it when I'm down another 15lbs or so
-
I'm 22 and working towards a 71lb goal. I make sugar free jelly to help with sweet cravings. Hartley's is only 32cals a pint and then I'll usually add some pineapple/ mandarin :)

I'm 22 and in the uk. Down 26lbs with another 45 or so to go. Anyone can feel free to add me :)

I'm on a 72 day streak and would love some more active friends :)

If you mean the weight timelines at the bottoms of posts, apps > ticker

I don't know how many calories your current pittas are, but I eat warburtons pitta halves. The brown ones are 85cals, white ones are 81cals. They're semi-circles, about the same size as a regular pitta and a lot easier to open and stuff.

OP's already in negative/ low nets for the lone week logged in this month of no weight loss, assuming that logging was accurate.

This. Even some of the branded entries use cooked measurements and aren't identified as so. Always check the label.

Baking aside, you seem to be doing pretty well and making good choices. If you're finding baking relaxing then by all means bake. If you're only going to eat them that day, make smaller batches. If you want to even out your calories then try to spread out what you bake over at least a few day. You can pre-log a couple of…

I think I fit this. I'm 22, 5'11" and currently down to 199lbs hoping for about another 50, but it'll be 71lbs total :)

Soup! I get chunky ones full of meat and veggies. To make it more filling, i'll add a few slices of ciabatta or right now I have part baked mini baguettes that take about 7 minutes to cook. It'll get your water intake up a little too. Just avoid the high sodium tinned ones and get the fridge ones.

I thought the figure looked a little low and double checked. It seems the entry I found looking the calories up in the first place was for cooked weight and doesn't say. Luckily I've been using a correct entry when logging it. OP, the 50g (uncooked) is actually 175cal. I do think it's a bigger portion than a cup of pasta…
-
Egg noodles are lower calorie and work as a replacement in a lot of pasta dishes. I don't know about cups, but 50g is plenty for a serving and only: Calories 173 Total Carbs 22 g Protein 4 g Edit: Fixed the numbers. And 50g will make a plateful.

20lbs in 54 days :)

Weigh everything before cooking. For things that come in consistent sizes like string cheese and crackers just take the packet info. For foods like chicken breasts that come in various sizes, ignore the calories for an "average" sized one and weigh it yourself
-
I'm on a 51 day streak and always looking for more friends on here :)

You can see your average weight loss over the week in the mobile app. As long as your average is on goal, it shouldn't have any affect on how fast you lose.

Sugar free jelly is practically nothing calorie-wise. I usually add some tinned mandarin and different flavour layers to mix it up. It stores fine out of the fridge. Big cereals are also good.

My favourite right now are blueberry wheats. They're essentially shreddies stuffed with a blueberry filling, though they're available with other fruits.
