I quit in May and so far I don't miss it. I have been smoking since I was 16 years old and stopped once for 1 year and went back. I am now 70 and hope this is it!! I have put on 12 lbs since and now that is starting to bother me and why I am back with MFP. Good Luck to you and keep it up.

Congratulation! Proud you should be. Keep up the good work and next I will be congratulating you on a half a marathon--step by step. My daughter is doing a marathon in New York tomorrow and this will be her 3rd one. I am very proud of her!

Hi Patti, I am 69 and Im sure you will find lots of help here on this site. I have lost 5lbs and I have been on just about 3 weeks. I have about 20 or so lbs to lose. I also have lost inches--on my waist and hip--maybe just one hip, lol- but it feels good

Congratulations!!! your lifestyle change really paid off!! I think that is the hardest to get through my head--not just to lose so many lbs, but to be able to make the change in our life. Keep up the good work, you do yourself proud!

How about try to do some exercise (toning, or dance video ) maybe 3 time a week to start? Even if you only do 10 to 15 minutes maybe twice a day? I look at it as it is better than none at all. It will make you feel better and you might progress a little as you start to feel better. Look at it as if anything is worth a shot…

well, I am in the same vote as you--I would like to loose 20lbs by July also. We share the same Birthday Month! Not sure of your age, but I do find it difficult(getting in the exercise) at my age (69). But I decided this was my resolution for this year. to get of my but and move! good luck on you journey-have a positive…
