Search is your friend..there are multiple posts on this. But, in a word: YES!

Have you looked at Kefir as an option? It's high in protein (~11-16g per cup, depending on brand), and has fast acting carbs, calcium, potassium, B vitamins and probiotics. It's easy to drink, and there are several fruity or coconut flavors to choose from. Should be available in the dairy section of your grocery store.

I have finished Gamma Pure, now on the 3rd week of Gamma hybrid (mixes in a few Alpha/Beta workouts). I think it's definitely worth it. I see much more toning and definition since moving from Beta to Gamma. It is a lot of weight/band work, and Speed 3.0 is TOUGH, but still fun like 2.0 is. There are some 'alternate'…

I think you'll enjoy Gamma! I'm on week 7 of Gamma (4 weeks of pure gamma, in 3rd week of gamma hybrid). It is very focused on strength (I sound like ShaunT!), and has really created the muscle definition that Beta didn't. Speed 3.0 is crazy, but fun like 2.0 is. Good luck!

I completed Alpha, Beta, one round of Gamma, and am now in round 2 of Gamma. I also did not see a lot of definition from Alpha and Beta, more toning and firming. Gamma has significantly increased my arm, shoulder, and pecs definition. I recommend it.

Beta is when you start to have some weights (or bands) worked in. Gamma is almost all weights-based, except for Speed 3.0.

Congrats! I had to take a day off this week cuz of a cold, so my double to finish up Beta will be tomorrow. I'm going to give Gamma a try, so sticking with Shaun for now :-) Are you going to P90X the original, or X3? Not sure I have the time for hour-plus workouts of X.

Yeah, that did make Upper Focus harder. Week 5 is under way! Looking forward to Gamma next week...presuming I survive this week! :-)

Hey Erc, I typically use "Cardiovascular - Aerobics, high impact" for the cardio/speed type workouts, and "Cardiovascular - Calisthenics (pushups, sit-ups), vigorous effort" for the more strength-based workouts. Kinda have to estimate your calorie burn, although MFP gives you an estimate for each of those. Unless you have…

Beta Week 3 Finished on Friday with that same double, Started Week 4 today. I upped the dumbbell weight by 3 lbs this time on Ript Circuit. Seemed ok, so I think I'll stick with that weight.

Yep, I did that double this morning too! I was spent, but I do like Speed 2.0, it's fun! On to week 3!

Any other 1/20 starters do Beta Day one (Core Cardio) today? We did, and it was definitely Beta level! Went well..almost nailed it, and it was fun to move on to newer exercises. Keep it up!

Hey Fenway13...nice screen name, Go Sox! Missed this post earlier, but my wife and I started on 1/20 as well...finishing up Alpha tomorrow. We both definitely feel more toned and have better cardio fitness! Looking forward to Beta!

Posted this in another thread, but look at Sole. They are made with high quality parts where it matters, lower quality (cost) where it doesn't. Reasonably priced, and ship free from amazon. We are happy with ours.
