I'm a 29 year old mom of two and I'm shorter and fatter than you... lol I don't do slim-fast but I'm a big fan of protein smoothies, etc. Like the others are saying though, you can eat food-food too... stick around :wink:

I had a meniscus tear about 10 years ago- had it repaired and did pretty well afterwards. Think I just recently tore it again, though this time it's not nearly as painful as back then.

RN 5 years 5... Love what I do, hate where I work. Administration sucks- I'd love to see them work the floor, and THEN try to tell us what we're doing wrong. I sometimes wonder if the stress is really worth it. :noway:

:laugh: Either way, it's funny to watch people freak the eff out about it. My doctor has me on 800/day right now. A minimum of 50-70 grams/protein a day, low carb. I'm a nurse and I know the calories may sound ridiculous. I actually am feeling better than I have in a while.

I used to have similar problems. You have to physically MAKE yourself stop. Don't allow food in your house that you know you'll eat at night. Drive by McDonalds, and take the money you would have spent and put it in a jar so you can spend it on something after you reach certain goals (new clothes at 15 lbs lost, etc). It's…
