  • I don't really have many photos of myself when I was bigger.. I kinda deleted them all.. Haha. But here are some progress photos.. Before - 208-210 During - Around 190lbs I seem to be losing inches more easily than pounds. But I'm okay with that. :)
  • It's only boring if you don't know how to cook. Lol. Use the right spices for the right food and your healthy food will taste amaaaaazing. I'm just sayin'. I never get tired of the food I eat.
  • Yeah, I suppose everyone is different. How many inches have y'all lost? I'm surprised I've lost as many inches as I have pounds. And thanks! Good luck on yours too. :)
  • I eat about 1/2 a medium avocado a day. They are soooo good! I like to eat mine with chicken, cherry/grape tomatoes, and feta cheese. Seriously delicious. Also, to store the halves I don't eat right away, I put them in a ziplock bag with lemon juice sprinkled on the top (store the half with the seed). The lemon juice keeps…

  • This. Or you could run in the evenings when the sun starts to set. Though its probably cooler in the mornings. I live in Houston so the heat is pretty extreme here. I tend to run in the evenings cause there's no way in hell I'm running in the middle of the day. Lol.
  • I do think it has something to do with genetics. I don't think I would ever be lower than a C cup. I was a C cup throughout pretty much all of high school. Biggest I got was a 38DD. Granted, I've lost 20 lbs so far, I went from a 38DD to a 36DD. My boobs haven't really changed at all. But I guess I'll see what happens…
  • I checked out his website. Holy crap! That guy has done a WONDERFUL job!
  • Fixed your photos for you :) And also for another reference, here is my chart. I had periods of weighing daily, and periods of not weighing daily. I started out weighing myself once a week. And as you can see around the 190lb mark, I was on a plateau for awhile. I just started losing again, and am going to continue…
  • Bump for later.
  • ^^ Also this. You have to remember that weight-loss is not linear. Your weight is going to fluctuate CONSTANTLY. It's completely normal. I actually weigh myself daily so I can see how my body fluctuates, and so I can see the trend of my weight loss. Daily weigh-ins are not for everyone though.
  • I'm so glad I'm looking better in this thing as I'm losing weight! (around 190lbs in these pics) Sorry if the pictures are too big.. By the way, you are all looking fantastic!
  • That was a super sweet story! So very touching! I am incredibly happy for you, as you have done an amazing job! You deserve it :)
  • I skimmed through the posts here, but just incase I over looked it, how long has it been since you saw a loss on the scale? Just because you hit a plateau, doesn't necessarily mean you aren't doing everything right. You could be doing everything right, which seems like you have been. It can just take a while for your body…
  • I'm not sure why in the world a Dr. would want you on a 500 calorie-a-day diet.. That's pretty absurd.. But running does wonders for your core. It's also a good way to lose inches around the middle. I know it has for me.
  • I weigh myself every morning when I wake up, after using the restroom. I take measurements every Monday, and progress photos (front, side, back, arms - front, arms - back) once a month.
  • AWESOME!!! Good job, man!
  • That's exciting! Congrats on your losses! I am looking forward to the day when I can fit into smaller clothes. :)
  • Ahahaahahahahahahaha. Perfect.
  • 3 month progress. I was weighing weekly at first, then everyday, then hit a plateau, but for some reason forgot to log the numbers, and I can't find where I wrote them down.. As of yesterday I will be logging daily again. Orange line is the trend, blue is the actual logged weight.
  • Silent Hill kinda scared the crap out of me. Lol. That little girl freaks me out.
  • Do you eat yogurt or fruit besides bananas? The greek yogurt I eat has 23g of protein per serving. I just mix it with fruit since it's plain yogurt.
  • 6oz shredded chicken, 1oz feta cheese, 1/2 cup grape tomatoes & 1/2 cup yellow cherry tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, and a little bit of Italian blend seasoning. 450 calories. And SUPER delicious. So good, I ate it twice today. Haha.
  • PREACH!
  • You look AWESOME!!! Not to mention beautiful! Thank you for sharing your story. It's incredibly inspiring. :)
  • Italy is another "thin" country, and they eat a lot of different types of bread. Granted, you buy it at a bakery or the like. They also eat a lot of gelato. Not to mention, in the cities, people in Italy tend to walk everywhere they go and tend to be more active than they are here, and their food generally isn't processed…
  • Yes, I lost inches while in the plateau. The scale just wouldn't budge. I have been doing strength training and running, increasing reps each workout (sometimes repeating weeks if I felt I wasn't strong enough to move forward) and increasing run time with each session. And I have high and low days when it comes to…
  • I used to buy canned chicken to put in my salads, but now as far as chicken goes, I just buy whole chickens, bake them, and shred the whole thing. Cuts down the sodium wayyyyyy down. It's cheaper that way anyway.
  • Actually, mashed cauliflower is delicious, imo.
