I started a couple of weeks ago, am on level 3 this week. I've never ran before in my life let alone thought about doing a 5k lol! So it is something I am determined to complete and accomplish!

I agree with a couple of the others. I find it so hard to stick to 1200, especially with exercise, I just cannot live on that, it's way too low for me! And when I first started I just wasn't losing, or losing very little. That's what MFP gives me, but I use my BMR calories, and try to net that, or just over every day, so…

Before and over Xmas I didn't exercise for about 8 weeks (we were moving and decorating right before Xmas) and still managed to lose, but I don't think I could do it long term, I feel a bit lost without exercise! (Even though some days I can't be bothered lol!)

I usually have mine with lemon juice and sugar... I think I may have some Worthenshaws chocolate frozen dessert (like ice cream but low cal low fat) this year though, yum!

Uh-huh, another one who gained the weight (a lot of it!) 6 years ago when I met my now hubby! Mainly through eating out and cosy nights in... We still do that., but make much better choices and control portions! :happy:

I have some of the chocolate Worthenshaws, nice dessert for not too many calories if you crave ice-cream. And yes, because it's no additives etc, it's not all that bad for you. I remember the girl who created it from Dragoin's Den :happy: This looks yum :smile:

I agree, it's all about portion control! I never have more than 100g of meat, and like someone else said, the leanest part. And loads of veggies! Make sure to weigh everything too, you will be surprised how much you can get for 400 calories!

Same here, I wasn't exercising before/over Xmas (I was ill), granted I was eating a little less than usual, but I lost weight!
