Wow yeah that is a lot of exercise to just start up on. I don't think that's my problem though, I eat between 1300 and 1500 calories a day even when I work out. I work out 3-5 times a week. Congrats! I know how you feel, I found out I have very high cholesterol in January, and I lowered it by over 50% by May! She said when I come back in August if it drops like that again that she'll take me off my medication :]

This is taking a lot of courage to post, as I have never posted to any of these forums, I usually just look at them. Good job everyone! I've got two in the past week :] One - put some pictures on facebook, and my dad who hasn't seen me in about a month texted me to tell me how great I look! two - Was getting dressed yesterday morning, and I couldn't wear one of my shirts.....BECAUSE IT WAS TOO BIG! :] best feeling.....EVER!

I'm just a little overweight. I'm 5'4" and 155 pounds, so not like I'm super obese or anything. It's just frustrating because I've been running at 4 mph for a while and logging it as that, and now I find out it's been really off...

5'3" and 156.3 - down from 169.9 in February! Trying to get down to 120, but we'll see if that changes when I get closer to that point! Feel free to add me :]

Yeah it really does depend on a lot of things. I have lost 13 pounds and have lost 3 inches.

Congrats that's fantastic! I started at 169.9 in February, my weigh in today put me at 156.3, that's almost 13 pounds! I can't wait to be at your weight! Slow and steady :]

Yeah I changed my goal to a pound a week and it only bumped me up an extra 110 calories so I'll give it a shot :smile:

Because bumping up my calories scares the crap out of me! Like I said I'm doing well with my weight loss and I'm happy with it. :ohwell: Just don't want to mess it up.

When I STARTED, my BMI was at obese.

The only time it has ever told me that I'm eating too few calories is when I don't enter all of my food.

It's taken me about 3 months. I have it set at 2 pounds per week, but I average at about 1 pound per week, sometimes less sometimes more though.

My BMI did come back as obese, so yes I did want to lose 2 pounds per week.

Why would MFP tell me that's what I need?

For the past 3 months I've been fine, I've been tired and unmotivated for like the past 3 days. And my workout partner has been the same way for about a week, and she eats a whole lot more calories than I do. Have none of you ever just been in a rut before?
