Hi, Yes I have between 50 to 60 blbs... I am going to try and focus on lower carb but stay within my calorie limit.. I think I will start about 1500 cal a day.. was going to start lower but don't want to set myself up for failure right away.. so will start there and see how it goes :)

This is what my chiropractor suggested, as last Sat I had some alcoholic beverages and dessert - which I normally don't have), and Sunday is when knees were quite achy.. Monday they were better.. so I am thinking it is related .. but that was one day.. I am going to try and monitor.. and watch my sugars..

Funny you posted this, I have just decided to do this :) I gave a friend my scale to hang onto for a while.. I am stressing out over it and am getting discouraged very easily so am trying a different approach .. we will see how it goes..

I am doing the same thing..although I have just started two weeks ago, the database for MFP is much better and I am trying to track both but am relying on calories first.. I am liking the meetings for support and accountability.. knowing I have to get on the scale every week is on the back of my mind and a good motivator…

Hi There, You are correct.. the one difference is that WW has local meetings / support group and I feel that would be very beneficial to me.. unfortunately struggling on my own.. Or trust me would rather not pay.. but for now will try combining the two for a jump start :)..
