  • Hey man losing close to 100lbs is AWESOME ! congrats!
  • Hey I think you answered your own question when you said your goal is to keep track. Then you definitely should log everything you do! People with different goals probably have different opinions... the only thing I worry about is that MFP (actually most) calorie burned estimators seem to be inaccurate and estimate more…
  • Awesome transformation! Congrats! Interesing bio too
  • Good luck on your december 14th surgery! I just had one done on OCT. 30th just over 6 weeks ago. I couldnt be happier!.. Everyone responds differntly to procedures but i can say for me it was a breeze. 2-3 days post op i was feeeling good and by the 4th day i was pretty much back to normal! (for what its worth down 58lbs…
  • Keep it up! good job~
  • Great job ! congrats!
  • I would probably try reducing calories by 50 per day for a week or two and see if you start to lose again. If your still at a standstill id probably drop 50 cal per day for a week again and keep doing that till you start losing!
  • welcome to MFP ! unfortunately i never tried nike kinect or anything on my computer systems, but anything that gets you moving, sore, or heart rate up is good ! good luck here :)

  • Hey if i were you (this is what i do and btw i got a lot of weight to lose too) id track my progress. • I gotta say weekends kill me too! Lately the only thing helping me is that I'm getting decent results from hard work during the week, so I'm less inclined to screw up the progress i made, but I pretty much have the same question as jessfresh~ i assume during the week you have more structure with work and all, so maybe we…

  • At GNC I usually try any of the gold standard whey products. Ive had the vanilla and chocolate in the past which were good, and right now i have cookies and cream. They all tasted good to me especially if you blend them with a banana or skim or something. I believe they were all 120 cal per scoop
  • Grats man! Just think about lifting a 50 lb dumbell... that's a lot of weight!
  • Heyy.. i have definitely felt like this before. First of all i think one of the best things you can do is go over your goals. Rereading them or thinking of more reasons why you want the weight off is always motivational. Another thing you could do that might help too is not put so much emphasis on scale weight. I know…
  • Polar makes some good products... you should find something around 75$ . Good luck :) http://www.polarusa.com/us-en/
  • Didnt realize you had so many responses. Good luck at your weigh in!
  • Yeah i wouldn't change anything. In order to put on muscle and get bigger you need a calorie surplus (which is more calories then your body will use in a day) along with some solid weight training. If your eating healthy you should be fine  at first especially when you have a good amount to lose there can be a lot…
