weekends

i've been getting results, slowly, and in general monday-thursday i'm finding it ok to stick to, but come the weekends i cannot seem to stay within my targets...alcohol, carbs, snacks etc. Does anyone else have this problem? any advice for staying on track at weekends would be gratefully received.

    Its not a "problem", its more of a focus. Do you have an iPhon o Droid? If so, get the ap ad log what you can.
    There are alcohols you can drink, an rather plentily if wanted....just know its the mixers that kil you.

    I gotta say weekends kill me too! Lately the only thing helping me is that I'm getting decent results from hard work during the week, so I'm less inclined to screw up the progress i made, but I pretty much have the same question as jessfresh~ i assume during the week you have more structure with work and all, so maybe we need more structure on the weekends :) I'm def going to follow this post though for some tips.
  • I tend to eat the same on weekends as I do during the week, but will often skip the workouts (which leads to me eating over my calories)

    Pre-planning the meals early in the day helps a little, or trying to find time to do *something* active!
  • yeah i think it's definitely a routine/habit thing....weekends involve either staying in watching tv/films and eating junk, or going out drinking then eating junk as part of the recovery process, with the mental message of 'oh i'll start properly on monday'...i just know it's going to hinder my progress and definitely want to break the habits!

    It's okay, I do the same! Fill your time with EXERCISE! I wanted to eat an entire bag of peanut butter cups on Sunday and I was getting closer and closer.... and then I thought, this is **** so I went for a run :)
