Personally, I always bring a few veggie side dishes. Potlucks are usually a bunch of one dish type meals; casseroles and such. So, I always bring a few simple side dishes and stick to eating what I brought.

The only changes in my cardio have been ramping up the intensity. I would keep jogging and throw some intervals in there. Bye bye plateau!

Whey protein shakes are a great "starter" supplement. I dont use them as meal replacements but to supplement protein post workout. They extra protein does make me really full though.

Either count or eat the same thing everyday. People always underestimate the amount of calories they consume. Ofcourse most people will not eat the same thing for all their meals everyday, so the counting helps tremendously! Eat clean and exercise=maintenance.
