  • Wow I just saw this post I made again and it almost made me cry at work. Today I am 30lbs heavier than I was from my after pics and about 35lbs thinner than the before pic. I am proud that I want to fight to get back down. I remember being much thinner than even those after pics before I ended my journey abruptly but I am…
  • I am supposed to stay away from dairy and gluten and cleanse them out of my body he said and then slowly add back in some dairy like Greek yogurt. Maybe this was not the best place to ask. I will just talk to him again about other options that don't involve unnecessary additives.
  • My doctor recommended something with a ton of other chemicals that I don't like to take. I have been having a hard time finding a more holistic doctor where I live.
  • I had pneumonia this year and have been told to stop eating gluten again. I am more interested in the probiotic aspect since I have had so many antibiotics this year.
  • I have an iPhone and iPad so I am thinking it makes more sense but not sure if I want to take the plunge. Anyone else find theirs more motivating?
  • You look amazing! I am glad you are my friend and inspire me daily with your continued dedication!
  • Wow! Holy crap is right! You look amazing my friend! All of your hard work has been paying off BIG TIME!!
  • I have Greek yogurt with protein powder mixed in every morning. That makes getting to my protein goal much easier.
  • I have PCOS and have struggled with it for years. I have been very successful recently eating more while staying away from simple carbs and exercising 6 days a week. I am only about 5 feet and I eat at least 1500 calories a day, most days eating around 1700. I eat a moderate amount of good carbs and really enjoy what I do…
  • My Fitbit link is: https://www.fitbit.com/user/2DFBW2. Anyone can feel free to make me a friend on Fitbit also. As for low carb meals I mainly eat lean protein with a variety of vegetables. A friend of mine suggested to me a few weeks ago to eat grilled chicken with sour cream and a little light cheese and a serving of…
  • Getting the pictures to show up was the hardest part of posting that's for sure. I used photo bucket also. You need to copy and past the image link where you want the picture to go. I deleted the first part that starts URL. You also have to make the IMG lower case. I used the topic posted about uploading pics from this…
  • Thank you! I still feel like I have a long way to go most days even though I have lost more than a quarter of my entire body weight in the last six months. These last pounds have been hard, which is part of the reason I decided to post my story so I can see for myself how far I have come.
  • Thank you everyone! And thank you to the new friends I am mkaing! Keep in mind if you add me as a friend I will comment on your posts and I like to get to know my friends well!! The community I have surrounded myself while using MFP has made ALL the difference in the world to me!!!
  • I have PCOS and insulin resistance and have had amazing success sticking with protein as well as fat being about 35% of my calories and carbs being around 30% of my calories. I stayed away from any simple carbs for awhile. I have been at this for only a little over 5 months and have lost 60lbs just by being reasonable. I…
  • Hello Warrior Women and especially our new members. I'm Rachael and I'm glad you joined! We had a good couple of weeks in May and now I'm ready to start a new challenge. I have been thinking about what my challenge will be for a few days and I'm not sure if I want to push myself too much calorie wise because I think I may…
  • Awesome job! Your transformation is fantastic! I am almost at 50lbs lost and it has been 121 days. It has been months of sacrifice and hard work but totally worth it! I can't wait to see how you are doing in another few months!
  • I have not tried the mint chocolate chip ones but they sound great. My favorite are the sea salt caramel Yasso bars. I also have the vanilla and coconut. I pretty much have one every night. They are wonderful!
  • I totally agree with your post. Damn MFP for ruining and saving my life all at once!
  • Your story is so inspiring! You have accomplished so much in a year. Congratulations and thank you for showing me it can be done!
  • Hello all! Today was another fun and active day for me. I actually used the weight machines that my trainer taught me to use by myself. I was so proud of myself actually going for it. I finished off my workout with so e treadmill intervals and when I was almost done I closed my eyes for a second and almost fell of the…
  • I actually had to take another walk so my dog could pee lol I totally forgot. Well I got an extra 9 active minutes out of it so that's good.
  • Hello warrior women! I hope everyone is well. I have been having a stressful week at work and have been feeling a bit lethargic but I'm still plugging away. Today I got in 2 workouts and have 180 active minutes all together. I did my first fitness class at my new gym. It was tough for me but basic and I made it through…
  • Hello everyone! The last couple of days I've been both busy and not feeling great. I started swimming yesterday and am really happy I took the plunge (pun totally intended lol). It is a great low impact workout that I have been able to do despite feeling like I couldn't do any real cardio. Between the last two days I have…
  • On 5/19 I was 154.4 and as of today 152.5 so I am down 1.9lbs!
  • Hello warrior women! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday I was having a bad night. I did not get nearly as many active minutes as I would have liked but life goes on. Yesterday I had 113 active minutes and today I am up to 149. That means with the 783 I was at I am not up to 1045 active minutes or 17.41 hours. I am doing…
  • Today I was able to get in 126 active minutes. I loved going to the gym today and it gave me more time at night to relax. Technically I worked but there was a little relaxing also. If I remember correctly we have been at this for 5 days. So far I have logged 783 active minutes or 13.05 hours. Wow now that I see that in…
  • Hi lemurcat12! Sorry I just saw your post. I am most interested in starting weight training and taking a kickboxing class they offer. I also want to try a couple of yoga classes. Hey have different styles of yoga offered there. I fell in love with the elliptical machine I used today. It was able to be a stepper also and I…
  • Happy Wednesday Warrior Women! Today turned into a rest day for me but I still logged 78 active minutes on my Fitbit from my walking. I got to 25k steps and am totally satisfied with that! I am pretty excited because I joined a gym today. This should give me new and exciting ways to spend my workout time. I will be…
