Well, when you're a short 43 years-old woman and you must not exceed 1200 calories to lose a pound per week, and that you just CANNOT STAND being hungry, then you have to deprive yourself of many many many things you like. That is the point. For me anyways.

Ah. This means that you are not measuring and/or logging everything. Since you've been on MFP for months, I won't have to tell you what are the consequences, and what should be done about it. I suggest you fix this (i.e. knowing how many cals you ACTUALLY eat) before even thinking about the rest.

You don't need to workout to lose weight. Start with fixing your diet (taking into account breastfeeding, if you do).

So, that a 3 pounds gain. Three pounds it took five weeks of strict dieting to lose. All this effort lost in three days of stuffing my face. What an idiot. I'd bang my head with a hammer.
