Mine has always been high even at 120 pounds. I'm around 80 now. High heart rate runs in the family.

That sounds great! I think I would have to drink it later in the afternoon, even though it sounds good for breakfast. I think I'd be more likely to want more sugar if I had it in the morning.

I think the most sugary thing I have in the house right now is Newton thins (which are delicious btw!) My husband, however, has oreos, oatmeal cream pies, etc etc. He's an evil man....

Mental health field over here also, substance abuse prior to that. Maybe making a list of coping skills wouldn't be a bad idea...

Oh, I was eating a lot. I think that's where more of my calories were coming from than anything else, unfortunately. I tried to slowly start weaning myself off it before I started counting calories and eating cleaner. I've been doing really well for a month, but these last couple of days are kicking my butt!

haha I have today (a few jelly beans, a 200 cal dessert). I tried to allow myself to have some so that I would stop craving, but it's just not working! And investing in SF candy would probably be a smart thing to do! :)

Truvia is better for you, but I can't take the aftertaste, so I personally use Splenda. It's rare that I use any of it though.

Is there any way to, for lack of a better word, fix it?

I'm at work right now and don't remember off the top of my head what brand it is. The stride defaults to 25 but I have long legs and when I measured my stride, it was 27. My treadmill has a heart rate sensor built in, but you have to touch it before it registers. Could that still be causing issues?

I have no idea, but I'm right there with you. I have a very high resting heart rate, though, and I used my HRM for the first time this morning...it didn't cooperate very well, but it may have been because something was set a little off.

My feet hurt when I run sometimes, but my ankles over-pronate, and my shoes (Brooks) correct that. Sorry, not much help :/

Healthy Trim is known as more of a diet pill than an energy supplement. Maybe that was part of her concern? If it works for you though, then don't let her comments get you down :)
