That's great! I'm on the 10.

Wow, a lot of you are so impressive! I do a kettlebell/movement type class 3-4x a week that leaves me sweaty and exhausted and now that it FINALLY stopped snowing I have introduced a new activity for off nights I like to call walk/jog with the dog. If you want to be humbled, try jogging behind a walking dog. :)

I'd really prefer that my family accept me fat or thin and STFU about it. But ultimately I need to do this for me and basically ignore what anyone else says about my weight, whether too fat or too thin.

Walking is great, you can really clear out your head and I do know people who have lost a lot of weight primarily by walking. Good for you for not making your back and knees worse. I can't wait for it to warm up here.

Hi! I take a kettlebells class 3x a week and I'm all over the map with different weights for different skills. I use 16K for swings and 10K for lifts and jerks. I'll add you back.

OK, this is a little radical. We very rarely make pasta anymore, but when we do it's whole wheat, homemade tomato sauce, and very lean ground turkey. Maybe a sprinkle of fat free feta on top. But I REALLY like this now. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/spaghetti-squash-i/ 147 kcal 1 spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and…

I would take a white board and list about 5 exercises, trying to concentrate the majority on your core. Then run through them like 20 reps on each, then 15, then 10, then 5. DO it as quickly as you can with good form to get some cadio going and run around the room after each completed set of the 5 exercises. That may make…

Hi, I'm new in here. I take a 60 min. movement class based on kettlebells. It seems like 20 minutes weightlifting, 20 minutes light stretching (mountain/valley, etc.) and 20 minutes getting instructions warming up and cooling down. SO I only count 20 minutes or weight lifting and 20 minutes of light stretching. I don't…

When I started going to the gym I weighed 258 lbs. But if I hadn't started and counted calories, I would STILL weigh 258 lbs. Losing 70 lbs., feeling a whole lot better generally, and being able to keep up with my friends when we are walking somewhere means a whole lot more to me than what anyone thinks, period.

Really never. My idea of a serving is ALL OF IT IN THE HOUSE so I don't even start. I keep some around in case I need to give the dogs a pill and there's enough dog drool in there to keep me out.

You look great! I think it gets harder for me to stay motivated when I start to feel like I look good, so that may be an issue.

<3 You have underbid. That's around my goal weight, I'm 193 now. 125 for you?

Should I restart this? Full body pic for better guessing? :D

I'm very sorry for your loss. There are certain foods that I used to binge on, and I don't keep them in my house. Fortunately, I'm too lazy to go out to the store just to get something to eat when there is healthy food here. But I can't have cookies, nuts, chips of any kind, and some other things in the house. That doesn't…

Just my opinion... Being fat is hard. Dieting is hard. Maintaining is hard. Choose your hard.

I think everyone is different so find what works best for you that you can do for the rest of your life. For me it's counting calories, eating very low carbs, and working out at minimum 3x a week with cardio and weights. If the workouts go, the weight comes right back.
