disagree with the above post, and an HRM would prove it.. Physical activity is physical activity, aslong as you elevate your heart rate, all that matters. You will be burning more calories than if you were watching tv or something related. The only way to truely know how much, is with an HRM that will measure it for you....

Tara from the biggest loser.. Man she looked so good in the finale, plus her go get it attitude is hot haha

Also what do you have your weight loss per week set to? Based on your weight, you can pull off 2lbs a week..
-
no.. 1200 is too low for you, 1200 is the bare minimum for a girl.. im 6'1 306lbs, and for a 2lb a week loss, i eat around 2000 calories.. Any exercise on top of that for the most part, I dont eat back..

I actually just purchased one.. I figured I was getting serious about my fitness, and rather than hope that the estimates the net and MFP gave me were correct, I would know exactly what my body was doing.. I have found that some exercises were pretty close, but most were not.. It took a little getting use to with the…

You cant really look at like its a diet, and this some short term thing.. Granted once you get to your goal, you may not have to work out AS hard, but you will have to workout.. You will have to be just as strict with your food intake.. So dont look at it like its a short term diet, its your new life.. Its how its gonna be…

Ive been told by dieticians and trainers that if I had a juicer, to throw it into the trash.. What they say is, yes fruit has good sugars, but when you juice a piece of fruit.. Basically you are taking all the sugar and just drinking it.. The reason eating a piece of fruit is different, is because chewing it, allows it to…

I work the night shift too.. 9pm to 6am.. Luckily we have a gym downstairs that i sneak off to about 4 nights a week.. What works for me is keeping a pattern as far as my meals are concerned.. I usually eat right when i get to work, drink a protein shake around 2 after i workout, eat a small meal around 4am.. When I wake…

Like someone said.. Cardio everyday is a good thing, you are suppose to walk for an hour a day or something right? And do not do the same workout, if you mix it up, maybe lower body upper body mid section.. then I think you are good.. But if you are going 7 days a week, and really want to, make sure you also get plenty of…

The argument between 3 large meals and 4 or 5 small meals is never ending. I believe its all dependent on what works for you.. Try it out.. Water aerobics are great, low impact on all the joints and provides the resistance you need.. Recumbent bike is great too.. anything to get your heartbeat raised.. And like everyone…

It could be a few things, what does MFP say your caloric intake should be? and is that losing 1 pound a week? A lot of people actually low ball their calories, not on purpose, but it happens.. It could be a variety of things..

They say the faster you lose it, the easier it is to put back on.. Also, the faster you lose it, you may not give your skin enough time to slowly stretch back.. Its definitely do-able, but I dont think too many people are gonna recommend it.. 1 pound a week, I think is more realistic in a long term achievement.. It would…

I started up again and noticed the same thing.. Like someone said, it takes a little bit of time for results to show up, scale wise anyways. Especially if you are just starting to get back into working out, as you will build muscle.. Try not to hop on the scale so often, trust me I know how badly we want to see the results…

The MIO is new, ive only had the fruit punch one but its very good.. nice when you want a little bit of flavor..
-
Some vitamin water is either 0 calories or very low, life water, that mio stuff is pretty good and its 0 calories..

What works for me is setting up what I plan on eating throughout the week.. If you know what you plan on eating, its harder to stray off course.. Nothing is wrong with having a slight cheat day or meal, but dont go too overboard with it.. The stricter with your diet foods, the harder it is to stay focused on it.. I eat…

Just dont look at it like its a diet, because its really not, its a new lifestyle ya know? Like everyone else said.. Use success stories for inspiration, or just know you arent alone :)
