Congrats! That's a great accomplishment. I am a mom of 2 and have had a hard enough time losing the post baby weight, I can't imagine how much harder it is after 4.

I have a peach or strawberry greek yogurt most every afternoon. It is plenty sweet, but there's also a protein benefit.

Congrats! Awesome job.

Great job! I've been weightlifting since the beginning of March but have not seen much of a weight increase in any of the compound lifts. I'm afraid I've spent too much time on smaller muscle groups and need to move to a 5x5 or SL-type program.

I would listen to your doctor. I am 5'7", am currently 132 and definitely not "too skinny." My workouts are almost entirely strength-training and I eat around 1700 calories a day, so certainly not starving myself or killing it with cardio.

It has actually been my husband! He's never been overweight, but his diet can be pretty appalling at times. When I started working out 3-4 times a week and logging my food, it was entirely for myself. I talked with him about it, but never once suggested he do the same. After about 2 months and 10 pounds down, he started…

That was my first shocker as well. I ordered the Big Zax Snack and it was over 1000 calories. I about died!

Incredible work!

Congrats! That's awesome! I had a similar experience recently when I was able to wear the dress I wore in my engagement pictures 11 years ago.

Deadlifts are incredibly exhausting for me and it is difficult for me to keep proper form so I always do them at the very beginning of my workout while all my muscles are fresh. I just found these tips and have been working on these exercises to help my deadlift form:…

I figure if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I've been slowly losing weight since January and have never measured my food. I make an estimated guess. My thoughts are the same as yours regarding a lifelong choice, and I don't want to be tied to a kitchen scale.

Amazing work, from one tiger mama to another.

Congrats on your great success for one month. Keep at it and you'll be at that goal weight soon.

I started seeing noticeable results within about 2 months. Here's a pic at 11.5 weeks after starting eating at a 500 deficit and working out about 4 times/week, mostly strength training.

Gaah, where were you a month ago when I was running around town to every fitness-type store and couldn't find a dang thing? I finally just ordered a tape off amazon.com and I do like it, but running by the fabric store would have been SO much easier and quicker.

You look incredible! I've been lifting heavy for about 6 weeks and have already started seeing results. I can't wait to see myself at the 6 month mark. Thanks for the inspiration!

You look amazing! What does your workout routine consist of?

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! And I agree with you amwoidyla, if I know I'm going to have a high calorie day or will be skipping my workout, I try to limit myself to just one cup or add skim milk instead. And I have learned to prefer my tea half-sweet, half unsweet, mtaylor33557, so that makes me feel a little…

I might stick it out a little longer to see if she quits or changes her schedule, otherwise I would look for another gym.

Congrats!! You look great and have done a tremendous job making this your new lifestyle.

You're awesome! I've been lifting for a little over a month now and am already pleased with the results I'm seeing. I am 5'7", currently 136 and have a goal of 130, but mostly want to tighten up my tummy and thighs. Lifting leaves me feeling so much more empowered and capable than any cardio! I just followed you on…

Wow! What an awesome accomplishment!

Congrats and good luck with your future goals!

32 yo mom of two 5'7" SW: 147 CW: 136 GW: 130 Work full time at a desk job so I definitely have to keep up with my workouts! I started lifting a little over a month ago and am focusing on body comp changes. Would love to be friends and offer support/encouragement to any weight loss twins.

Wow! That's a huge accomplishment in two months, congrats!

Congrats!! I agree with how simply logging your food can be life changing. I always give myself the benefit of the doubt and assume I haven't really eaten that much. Now that I have to account for everything I consume, man is it eye opening! Hopefully I'll never return to mindless eating again.
