Kristen, it is sad that a "weight loss" support website would encourage it. It sounds like it isn't really a weight loss support website as much as a pro-ana website. They are everywhere. Breaks my heart because I've been there...

That is a typical "ana" diet encouraged by those with eating disorders. Yes, it may be shocking to those who have never suffered and eating disorder... unfortunately, it doesn't shock me at all. It just makes me sad that people would follow it because they feel so insecure, lost, ugly and "not good enough".

awesome post! And you are correct all the way around. It is twice as hard for an ED person to try to lose weight "the healthy way" because it is so easy to slip into old bad habits and thought processes. Glad there is support here for those of us who have or had ED's.

You sound like me. As I never really lost the weight from the 1st pregnancy. My kids are 6, 5 and 9 months. I love this website. It helps me stay on top of calories eaten, calories burned and the success stories really motivate me. Good luck!

Awesome job - you look like 2 totally different people! And I love your wife's dress - very sassy!

That is just awesome!! And I LOVE your husbands response - makes you feel good doesn't it?? I can't wait to get near to my goal (pre-pregnancy) weight again. I know I'll feel so much better about myself then :)

Congratulations! You look fantastic and I love that dress!!

YAY! Nice job!

amazing! My stomach totally looks like picture one and I wondered if it can ever be more "normal" looking but I think you have answered my question!! Nice job!
-
WOW - just WOW!!! I also had a baby July 2010 (my 3rd, a son). From that time to now you were able to lose 85lbs and I lost only 20 (but honestly, that was what came off naturally after the baby, I haven't worked at it at all). You have renewed my dedication and commitment to losing this baby weight. I'm bummed at myself…

Nice job and great advice! Thanks so much for sharing!

As I've already told you, you are an inspiration. I would be happy with looking like your before picture at this point but what an amazing transformation! You look gorgeous in the bicep curl picture (you are very photogenic). And your kids are just adorable! Nice job!

A nutritionist is your best bet for adding the weight in a healthy way. And of course, continuing with a therapist will help address the emotional/psychological part. Because that truly is going to be half the battle. It's a battle in your mind more than anything else. Deep inside, you do want to eat, your body wants…

Nice job everyone! I'm proud of myself for working out 4 days in a row. For eating healthier as well. And for resisting the delicious fatty food at the jewelry party I attended last night!

Nice job!! I'm straddling the overweight/obese BMI right now and I hate it. Just hearing "obese" makes you cringe.
-
Nice job! You look amazing. And I say "go for it". Make your new goal 20lbs by Sept. It'll help you to lose the complacency and have a goal to focus on. Just think how drop dead gorgeous you will be for your sisters wedding!
-
Nice job!

I just love these success stories. They keep me motivated and inspired. Thank you so much for sharing! You look amazing!! I love all your dresses too - I can't wait to be able to wear "cute clothes" again and feel good about myself!!
-
Wow - you look amazing! Thank you so much for posting your inspiring story. I think too often I get discouraged if the weight doesn't fall off in a day! You've provent that it takes time but is WORTH it!!

My own mix of music on my cell. It's full of fun hip-hop upbeat stuff (Low by Flo-Rider, Whatever you want by TI, Summertime by New Kids, Yeah by Usher)... anything that makes me want to dance :) Typically I love country music but I just can't work out to that! haha

Have not heard of it but it is basically starving yourself. Four servings of vegetables, depending on the vegetables, would likely not even amount to 800 calories a day (and truthfully, is probably even less than 500 calories). Not to mention the fact that you aren't giving your body variety. And it is totally…

Great job! You are the same height as me, and as you know every stinking pound shows :( But you've done awesome getting it off. Congrats!
-
What an incredible story! You've done amazing. I love your quote too "is the choice I'm making bringing me closer or farther from my goal". That will be my new motto!
-
What a great inspirational story! Thank you so much for sharing!

Jessica Biel - amazing body!! So toned and tight but curvy too.... Jennifer Aniston has a good body too or Halle Berry. I like the curvy and toned look.

As a woman who is now overweight, I can say that the looser jeans make you feel safe. However, you are completely right. They actually make you look BIGGER. If you find the right jean, fitted, you will look so much better than the jeans that are too big or MOM looking. I speak from experience :)

AWESOME!!! Great job!! And I LOVE your shoes in the after photos - super cute!!
-
Nice job!!! You do look insanely happy and you should be!
