^^agree. just because something is low in calories does not mean its good for you. id rather use regular butter and work the calories into my goal, then to put a lower calorie version of it and put a ton of extra chemicals into my body.

^^agree! try eating more. your body is probably very very over hungry causing you to have intense cravings and leading to the couple bingey mishaps youve had.

I don't eat or drink diet drinks because of the artificial sweeteners. I'd rather fit a regular sweet tea into my calorie goal. But if it works for you, then go for it! :)

I was always so afraid the whole time i was (and still am) overweight that my boyfriend, or friends, or a family member was going to approach me to have this talk with me... Don't do it. Instead invite her out for walks, hikes, and other stuff to be active.

Yikes... No way! I like watching those shows and everything but in no way does their weight loss look easy... They can drop so many pounds without really even doing anything, yeah.... BUT they lose 100 lbs and BARELY look any different....

This is such a great and creative thread idea!!! I don't know how to attach a picture! But I have lost 33 lbs, which is exactly what my three year old son weighs!!!! When I carry him around, its crazy to think that I was actually carrying that around on my body up until a few months ago!!

If it was a binge, you would know! There is this whole horrible state of mind that comes with a binge..... Sounds like you were just hungry, which is totally normal!

Breakfast no longer becomes the most important meal of the day, imo, if it is screwing up your whole day!

Not necessarily just doing it for weight loss. Also doing it so I can be aware of what is actually in the food I am eating. I guess my definition of clean is just to be careful with foods/drinks that have tons of unhealthy ingredients/chemicals.

I'm honestly open for any suggestions! I listen to a variety of music. I like some rap, rock, some pop, alternative, and some 70s, and much more... LOL, and when I work out I like really upbeat stuff as well. Thank you for your suggestions!

I was a huge soda drinker.... you gave it up for so long, stay strong! What helped me was to find a drink that was better for me but also yummy. Now I drink raspberry tea snapple... it took a lot of getting used to.. also researching the effects that sodas have on the body gave me a few legit reasons to continue to stay…

I definitely don't see a problem with her having one! It will be a good way to encourage a healthier lifestyle not necessarily make her obsessed with calorie counting and stuff.
